This doesn't mean the NFL couldn't still suspend him, there is still audio of what Tyreek said which is in no way a good look for the league in ANY context. Outright stating your child and you significant other should fear you is sick.
I'll be highly surprised if the NFL doesn't suspend him.
EDIT: And reading more into this, they still suspect there was child abuse, but no immediate family has been cooperating. He'll get suspended.
So if the law isn’t going to charge him then he won’t face punishment from the NFL. Am I seeing this correct.
The NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy is open to broad interpretation...

Ok. That’s what I thought. With the phone call evidence I am thinking he is taking some games off. How many is what I want to see. If goodell gives him 1 or 2 games then I am calling it bull. He didn’t do what Peterson did but it’s still messed up.NFL is just waiting for confirmation they can do their own full investigation.

When it comes to a child I agree. And the mother could have went to the police at any time and didn’t. He is threatening them and she is scared and thinking about likely needing his money to raise the child. To much evidence to not come to a suspension. The investigators suspect the broken arm came from Hill, and there is the claim he punched his child in the chest as punishment. I think it may be worse - not to mention, the history of strangling and punching his pregnant girlfriend who he now threatens to the point she is not cooperating...
Just feel bad for the kid and it's sickening to see NFL fans defending strictly because he runs fast and catches a football.

6 to 10 games. Didn’t Peterson get the year off for spanking his kid.No. Cases of domestic violence and child abuse are often hard to prosecute. Often because family members (or other victims) are reluctant to testify. The league understands that. There shouldn't have to be a conviction for discipline.
