Hey T.J, Which NFL Wideout would you say you look up too, current or present?

T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Seattle Seahawks




I wouldn't say that I looked up to anyone, but I enjoyed watching Michael Irvin, Tim Brown, Sterling Sharpe... those guys I remembered growing up. I liked Andre Rison, but we're very different receivers with different body types.

The ONLY reason I didn't like Jerry Rice was that he played for the 49ers, and I was a Cowboys fan.

The Cowboys. I liked the Raiders, but the Cowboys were always my favorite because they played on TV when I was young.

Cool. Just another example of a guy playing NFL ball who grew up wanting to wear the Star. It's sad that he'll never really have that shot but that's how it goes for a lot of them.

Unfortunately a lot of guys use their childhood love for the Cowboys as motivation to play their best against the big blue star. Dallas has got to be the toughest team for a guy to play on (media scrutiny, jealous opponents, etc.). Yet there's an element of pride to it as well. It comes with the territory.
