When that news broke a couple of days ago I immediately thought, This isn't going to end well for him.

He will find out how much that will cost him in just over 3 weeks. His agent had to croak.

Kid was probably 19 or so in this video…

Doesn’t really change my opinion for a WR. Does he show up to practice, workouts, games etc and out the work in? Can he consistently do his job when it matters?

Similar to the Micah non sense about him doing a podcast. I could care less if he does 10 podcasts as long as he continues to be one of the best pass rushers on the planet.

Probably alot of these college players don't watch tape on their own.

In many cases, these are kids making 6-7 figures via the NIL. Watching film is probably not at the top of their priority list.

I think it's been blown out of proportion a bit.......it's not what you wanna hear, but to be honest, I doubt many of these are cutting up films and watching. It's not like they need much of an extra edge to beat their guy.

When asked if it's hard to watch film without liking to watch football, McMillan gives a concerning answer.

"I don't like watching film either," McMillan said. "I don't ever need to watch it by myself because we go over it as a receiver group."

It was during his freshman year. Tom Downey had a good discussion of it.

How many players in college football you think willingly watch film in their free time??? Probably under 10%. This is such a non story, forget the fact that’s it’s from 3 years ago.

Guy is clearly the WR1 this year please don’t over think this

I think his age here is the main thing. It's really a non-story when you realize how old he is.

That said, if he still has this petulant attitude, I'd be wary at 12. Micah was a risk at 12 too because of his rumoured 'immaturity', but at the very least he had explosive athleticism. To have both immaturity concerns and athleticism concerns is a bad combo so high in the draft.

(Haven’t seen this posted anywhere— but sorry if old news.)

Yikes. The last thing this team needs is another entitled, arrogant player that refuses to work hard and would rather build his brand than play football.

Give me Ebuka or Golden in a trade down if we want a WR later in rd 1.

Thoughts?
I would take Golden and never look back. 4.3 isn't attained without Bob Hayes ability and work both.

I have cooled on him quite a lot. The diva stuff in the scouts article was a turn off. The not wanting to watch film unless it is in the WR meetings was a turnoff. To me that is the difference between someone that wants to get paid vs someone that wants to be great. Dallas is already full up on those types.

That very attitude is spread throughout the Collegiate ranks now they are in competition for millions as a University student/athlete with money sources.

Safest pick in the first at 12 is going to be an offensive lineman.

He's a WR though. Wasn't Irvin a diva? Dez?
