T.O and Eskin argue it out on Radio

Eskin basically tries to say that TO sucks and Glenn was a better receiver, to which TO asks, "If I'm no good, why am I getting double teamed?"

Eskin's reply: "So you can get angry and implode."

Wow. Nice comeback.

Notice how TO replied without throwing Glenn under the bus

Yeah, I was surprised at how diplomatic and eloquent TO was the entire time. Eskin failed to get a single point in the entire time.

I think TO has learned how to deal with these situations a little better... I think Bill Parcells taught him a thing or two in that regard... just like Romo has seemingly ALWAYS known how to talk to the media

Something happened. He's definitely grown up over the past year.

If enough dirt is thrown in your face you tend to begin to eventually learn how to dodge it and remain relatively clean. WTG TO. Now come back next year with ten healthy fingers on two healthy hands in the best shape of your life and prove the doubting fans of the team you play for extremely wrong.

I think there was definitely MORE to BP and TO than any mediot really knows... I wouldnt be suprised if BP had a little unplanned talk with him one day and said "hey kid, they are targeting you...often... sidestep a few once in a while" ;) maybe a few pointers on how to deal with media and pressure and being bated

With regard to the finger issue... I aint letting him off the hook.... ALOT of his drops were:
  • taking his eyes off the ball
  • looking upfield before catching the ball
  • thinking about scoring TD before securing ball
  • thinking about TD celebration before catching the ball

this is pointless - of course a philly radio station is gonna be against T.O., we have a great player in T.O. and philly fans don't so i don't really care what any of them have to say.

If I was playing with a torn tendon in a finger I would find it very difficult to simply concentrate on the ball every single time it was thrown at me. I would be worried about whether or not I was going to actually catch it since I have never played with a torn tendon before. I would also be worrying about whether or not there was going to be someone right there to smack me when I catch it possibly smacking me on said finger and potentially ending my career. I would be worried about a lot of things during that small window of time when the ball leaves Romo's hands and hits mine. I'm not making excuses for TO. I'm simply putting myself in that position. A nagging injury like a sprained ankle is enough to deal with. You see guys all the time taking time off to nurse simple injuries. Then they come back and just aren't the same for a few weeks. TO took 4 weeks off to heal a broken hand (doctor estimated 4-8 weeks) and then played through a torn tendon. Something has to be said for that; especially when you consider the stats he amassed in 12 weeks of play.

Kudos to Eskin for delivering a well-deserved thrashing to The Cancer. Sadly and predictably, the TO assassins and water carriers are hard at work trying to polish this turd into a diamond. Then again, shame is not in their lexicon.

All good points and agree on the possibility.... but... he needs to get locked in more.... getting him involved early and often should help this.... he, like other WR's is a rhythm receiver

Fancy meeting you here. I'm really surprised. Can you see it in my face?

, I just don't know why or how Terrel lets himself get involved with these leeches.

I do. He can't keep his mouth closed. He always needs to be the center of attention. Why else would he call a Philadelphia Radio Station when he's a Cowboy?

Fact is he got more attention over there, and when he's feeling neglected here, he always goes running back to Philly for more attention.

You've got it all figured out. While you're at it...

I need to know what the winning lottery numbers will be tomorrow night. Hook me up.

Welcome to the reality-based community at CZ--a small but determined group that sees TO for what and who he really is.

It's more like a lynch mob waving pitchforks in the air with little TO dolls impaled by the prongs. Perception is relative I guess.

TO obviously embraces the villain role and it has served him well.

Shaq has done it for years first with Kings and Spurs fans and then moved onto Lakers fans where he really did tear the Lakers team apart. they pretty much guarantee that any game they are in you are going to want to watch even if it means you wanting to see him lose.

They both bank off your hatred.

Who listens to this guy?

This guy is an embarassment to radio.
