T.O. HAS to come back this week!

In his post-game interview, Parcells said something interesting. He basically said that this upcoming week is the last critical week for the team to really practice. That's because, after this practice week, they barely have enough time to prepare for the remaining preseaason games, and just after that the regular season will be upon them.

So basically, this is the LAST full week of real focused practice. So IMHO, it's time for T.O. to come back to practice THIS WEEK, because if he does not, then he'll enter the regular season without getting any quality work in with Bledsoe. Has anyone heard what T.O.'s status is? Is he expected back this week?

I guess. Really, if he has a sore hamstring then why press it? I'd like to see him back on the field as much as anybody, but we know he's in excellent shape and we know that he's a top 5 receiver in the league. I just don't get the urgency.

If he's too hurt to practice then will he be too hurt to play when the games are real? I'm not saying to press his return by forcing him to go 100% in practice. But the best thing would be for him to return even if it means going 50%. After all, he is training with trainers, which means he is exercising the muscle. But those exrcises can't simulate actual WR motion as well as actually running routes and stretching to catch passes, if even at 50%. At least that way he'll be better prepared to go full speed in the rgular season than he will by peddling bicycles.

the guy's the best receiver in the game. he knows his own body. don't stress. remember how he came back in the playoffs and was superb after being injured for a long time? Dallas fans need to stop stressing and buying into this media negativity. He's here. The focus HAS to stay on his production on the field. Problems START when you try to corral this stallion.

Besides, after all the distractions of the first few days of being in Dallas. If this injury isn't legit, I bet Parcells and Jones may have had a hand in orchestrating it. Just to keep the media and fans at bay so the team could have some focus on the real issues.

no need to push the injury with a chance for it to get worse... the guy can catch, and it is only preseason.
Come back 100%

if it was regular season, then maybe you may push a little, but these games here are meaningless...

I just want him to come back and do an interview and stop the media madness.

He has done interviews constantly saying that he is still not sure about his leg and that still needs time. That does nothing to deter the legion of mediots. JFE hasnt had to come up with any new ideas for two weeks as a result of it.

Additionally, I think with Crayton out for at least a week it behooves Owens to get his butt out there.

I think that TO needs to show the coaches that he is willing to practice at less than full strength and is willing to work...if not, we will start to see the problems...

Bringing TO back before he is healthy isn't a wise thing to do. It would be better to let him sit another week or two if necessary to ensure he is ready to go in Jacksonville.

I think if he sits another week, considering he hasnt even talked to BP about it, things start to turn sour. He NEEDS to come back tommorow.

You have no idea what the dynamics are between the coaching staff, the trainers and the player.

It would be up to Parcells to approach Owens on the matter after talking with the trainers. More than likely he has but is not going to share that conversation with the media.

Dear god, you people seem to actually read the JFE drivel.

Dayum, slow your roll guys. TO ain't got no time for dumb stuff like 'preseason games' and training camp practices. He's got overpriced popcorn to sell and more books to write.

Don't worry though, the oxygen chamber gives him his super powers. TO doesn't need reps or meaningless game experience. If Bledsoe puts the ball anywhere near him, it's a touchdown. Getcha popcorn ready.

Um, no he doesn't. He's 32. He's been to multiple Pro Bowls. We already know what he can and cannot do. Chill.

Yes, TO playing with team and offense and Bledsoe is important

BUT this is being blown out of proportion....

ASK ANYONE in game one if they would rather have a healthy TO to start season or a 80% TO that has had some work with Bledsoe...

This is all really meaningless in the grand scheme of things...
