Cowboys coach Wade Phillips called Terrell Owens (ankle) "iffy" for the team's first playoff game in his post-game presser Sunday.

Owens still has two weeks to do what he can to get ready for the game, so any timetables at this point would be useless. The Cowboys will play the winner of next Saturday's Seahawks-Commanders game in the Divisional Round.

No, if the Seahawks win, we play the Bucs-Giants winner.

TO has been a strong second season player before. If it is only a matter of pain I expect we will see him out there. He has two weeks to heal and loves the spot light of the playoffs.

I think he'll play. It's only a matter of how healthy he'll be because there's slim chance anyone recovers 100% in that amount of time from a high ankle sprain.

If Owens tells us that he's playing, I'd put money on him playing and playing well. I think he's the guy we need to hear from.

Since this D is not coming up big on third downs against a playoff QB, we go as far as Romo and the O take us. Without TO, not so far.

Yes they did. When you are the #1 seed, you can NEVER play the #3 seed in the second round.

Cowboys are the highest seed right ?

#1 in the NFC.

They will play the lowest seed for their game regardless.

So if the Commanders win they will play the Commanders, if the Giants win they will play the Giants.

Now you are just trying to confuse him even more. That is not fair.

Dallas plays the winner of TB or Giants, unless Washington beat Seattle!

And that would be the lowest seed.

Maybe I am not the only one that drinks too much.

Thankful for Pro Bowl honor
By Terrell Owens
Special to the Star-Telegram

Well, this is the last game of the regular season, and it has been a great season for us. We have gone through some tough times, but we had a lot more good times. That was evident in the way we played this year.

I want to take this time to thank all of the fans, players in the NFL and the coaches for voting me to the Pro Bowl. The journey really starts every year in March, when I start my training for the upcoming NFL season.

It is many months of running and lifting weights, sometimes two and three times a day. You can't succeed in this league working out halfway. There is someone always trying to get into your spot. That is why it is so special to be voted in because for me it lets me know that all of my hard work during the off-season and all of the studying and work in training camp has paid off.

Trust me on that. There is no one player in the NFL that can cruise through workouts and not study his trade but still be voted to the Pro Bowl. That just does not happen. Hard work brings success, and there is no way around it.

The Dallas Cowboys had a total of 11 players make the Pro Bowl. I also want to congratulate the other 10 guys who made it this year. With that many players making it from one team, it only shows that everyone did what they were supposed to do this past off-season.

Last week we beat the Carolina Panthers, and during the course of the game I injured my ankle. Now, there is a lot of talk about the team possibly being without me for the playoffs.

I want to assure you that we have great players and one person does not make a team. I am confident that I will be back and I am going to do everything necessary to come back and play with my teammates.

This has been a fun year and I don't plan on missing out on the fun we are about to have during the playoffs.

Just count me in.

Today we play the Washington Commanders and I will not be playing, but I will be supporting my teammates all the way.

I am sure the Commanders will change their game plan due to the fact that I am not in the lineup, but they have another thing coming if they think my teammates aren't up to the task. I know this is a big game for the Commanders because they need this win in order to get into the playoffs.

I guess we will play the spoiler for them today.

It has also been fun writing to you guys every week and expressing my thoughts about the games and some of my personal feelings. I really feel like I have bonded with the fans this year. The reviews of this weekly article have been good, and I hear the fans yelling supportive chants and wishing me the best every week.

This is my last article this year and I want all of you to know how much I really enjoyed writing to you. I also want to thank the Star-Telegram for giving me this opportunity as well.

See you soon!
