He's not quite as ripped there but he's in his off time right now. If I recall correctly, from reading some of his workout stuff, he backs off a bit on the training from the end of the football season till about March and then he picks it back up, heavily, with his workouts and stuff and getting his BF% back down again.

It's really not much different then Bodybuilders who have their out of competition weight, and look, and their in competition weight and look.
