McNabb:
pre TO stats: http://www.nfl.com/stats/leaders/NFL/PRAT/2003/regular 79.6 rating
with TO: http://www.nfl.com/stats/leaders/NFL/PRAT/2004/regular 104.7 rating
with TO for half a season: http://www.nfl.com/stats/leaders/NFL/PRAT/2005/regular 85.0 rating
see all his years without T.O. - and that one year with him really stands out:
http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/133361

Garcia:
http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/146325
before T.O was the #1 receiver - 1999: 77.9 rating (pedestrian)
with T.O. - 2000: 97.6 rating (goes to probowl)
with T.O. - 2001: 94.8 rating (goes to probowl)
with T.O. - 2002: 85.6 rating (starts probowl)
on the outs with T.O. - 2003 80.1 rating (back to pedestrian)
with Cleveland 2004 - 76.7 rating (not so good without T.O.)
with Detroit 2005 - 65.1 rating (with pretty good weapons)

Bledsoe:
Has never had been as loaded with great weapons until coming to Dallas... add T.O. to the mix and his 83.7 rating from last year should see the same rate increase as the two previous QBs, and likely better. This time the complement of weapons is much greater than the other two had. T.O. was a one man show and had that effect, now he's got Witten, Glenn, Julius and Barber to spread the wealth. Bledsoe will have a career season this year!

Remember Bledsoe had a 102 rating before Flozell went down.

If our OL can protect Bledsoe to the extent they did before Flozel went down (remains to be seem if Kosier can protect Bledsoe as well as LA did while Adams still there), then maybe we do have a real chance to make a big impact this year. And if JJ can stay healthy and returns to the form he displayed in last half of first year and 1-2 games in 05, along with Barber's contributions, we might be able to get the job done even if our OL is barely more then average. Only problem you can bet on is that all of our opponents will go after Bledsoe to nullify all the offensive weapons we now possess.
And our defense has to play at least to the level we did before last year's bye weak when we were either 5th or 6th on defense. We may not be the #1defense in the league in 06 but we will be in 07 when all our young players will be in their 3rd year in the league and in the 3-4 defensive scheme. Scarey.

I think Kosier will be the least of our worries and that he'll play better than LA was playing last year.
I am much more concerned about:
1) Flo being back to 100%, it takes time to get back to 100% after such a major injury and its not like he was playing at a PB level prior
2) Rivera, I know he was injured but he played pretty poorly last year
3) AJ, was one of the worst C's in the league last year. Of all the games I watched, the only time I'd ever notice a C was in a Dallas game and you normally only notice an OL because he was screwing up. Last year, AJ couldn't block anyone and gave away the snap count. What could've been worse for a C? He has to play, not just a little but a LOT better this year.
4) RT, I have minimum expectations from the position but <12 sacks is one of them. The NYG still scare me to death ONLY because of their DEs vs our T's matchups.

Oh yeah, we were talking about TO....
I have said it a number of times but I'll say it again, I really think that TO singlehandedly bought Philthy one extra year of competitiveness and saved McNabb from a good old fashioned Philthy fan/media barbeque. I also think McNabb oversold his "injuries", esp in the Dallas game because he saw that he wasn't getting it done. I'll never forget him scrambling for a TD, doing a moonwalk or some type of elaborate dance and spiking the ball really hard, then once the tide turns and he throws the game away, he's injured. Suspicious at best. I think McNabb is a good QB IF things are going right for him and the team. I think it'll get ugly for them this year.
Ironic that the one player the Iggle organization and coaching staff shows any loyalty to is the one that will run the ship aground.

After last season, wouldn't you do this? I have a QB who is accurate and has a strong arm, but this QB has a slow setup/release and he runs an offense that did not run the ball effectively last season. Into this mix, add an offensive line with at least one new face and maybe as many as three. Daring us to run the ball is the best strategy until we prove otherwise.

Yes, our defense wore down badly as the season went on last year. We must do better to get to the playoffs.

I'm sure every Cowboy fan feels that same way. McFlubb may have been injured on that play when Roy went pick 6, but as seriously as he carried on? He knew he screwed up and seemed to reach for the sympathy card.

You know that was the first thing I thought of when I saw him laying on the field after that td.
We are such a sinical society today that it is only natural to think that.
But also throw in the fact that McNabb was getting his swerve on in the first half doing a poor Michael Jackson impression complete with a moonwalk in the endzone after a td...I question his common sense.
If you are really nursing a groin injury should you be doing that?

I've always thought that McD was just a tad better the QUINCY... if u switched the 2 ala "BARRY and EMMITT" I think CARTER loses 3 NFC championshpis in a row as well... I think alot of QBs win with that team in that division back then!!!

Rush Limbaugh said it first, he just said it the wrong way... McD gets alot of passes from the coaches and players on his team and that translates with the media... people were praising him for losing 3 NFC TITTLE games but when he choked away a win in the SUPER BOWL it became obvious to TO and some of his teammates, he is just another guy!!!

the type of guy who throws up in the huddle... the type a guy who limps after a bad play... the type a guy who throws a pick on the winning drive... the type of guy who gets beat at home in BIG GAMES!!!

TO was right!!! McD will never win a SUPER BOWL as a starter!!!

Like Parcells told Qunicy Carter in his first year as coach. "There's going to come a day when you are going to beg teams to blitz you with the weapons that we have." We had some offensive weapons this year that are a little different than last year (one in particular). The biggest difference between Key and T.O., when it comes to the blitz, is the amount of time it takes for each to gain seperation. Key couldn't seperate from my grandmother, but made up for it by fighting for the ball. There were alot of times Key caught the ball when he wasn't ideally open, but still made the play. It's hard for a QB to play on that fringe. T.O will gain seperation much quicker and will fight for the ball just as hard, which makes the decision making process a whole lot qwuicker and a whole lot easier. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that if the O-line and WR corp stays healthy, that Bledsoe will be sacked less than 30 times.
