If I was a top player yes I would want my money. But first, I would play out my remaining contract. I wouldn't complain in public. If I made 7 million a year I wouldn't be complaining about another 1 million a year. Like I said I would be playing my contract and honor it unlike other athletes these days. You call it stupidity I call it honesty. Sorry if I have morals and values. I never heard Irvin, Rice, or Carter complain, *****, whine, cry, and beg for the damn ball every single time he had a microphone stuck to his mouth like it was a huge c*ck. I am true to my team no matter what. Not liking a player doesn't mean I'm not loyal. You want loyalty I have a star on my right arm and underneath it it says cowboys. On the other arm it says cowboys in old english letters. How is that for a cowboy loyalist. I got them during the terrible campo years. Critisize my comments, feelings, opinions but my loyalty never.

And yet, you won't support all the players on the team you cherish so much. How odd.

Okay. So did you hate Emmitt because of his contract hold-out? Emmitt actually missed regular season games while holding out, too!

If your performance dips, the team won't hesitate to cut you and rip up your contract. So when you out-perform your contract, you deserve a raise. It's business.

Besides, what do you care about what T.O. did as an Eagle? If you were really as loyal to the Cowboys as you claim to be, you'd judge him for what he does as a Cowboy.
I never heard Irvin, Rice, or Carter complain, *****, whine, cry, and beg for the damn ball
Hahahahaha!! And you claim to be a Cowboys die-hard?

Irvin was CONSTANTLY in the ear of his coaches and teammates during games about wanting the ball. Jerry Rice did plenty of the same.

You truly don't know what you're talking about.

Got this from The Ranch (thanks to DTown)...
------------------------------------------

T.O. was on a radio show in Jersey today and said that he felt he played a big role in last night's win. He said he knew he wouldn't get many looks because of being triple teamed and tried to be effective in other ways. He wanted to be there to block and lead the way for his teammates to score. He said he is so proud of Miles and it has been an honor for him to watch him grow into the receiver he was last night.

He also said that as proud as he was of Miles, next week he plans on duplicating last years Commander game. He said he will be disappointed with 3 TDs... He said he is going to train all week even by himself and with the team and that double and triple coverage will not stop him. He said that Jason has some wrinkles that will help T.O. shed those extra defenders if Washington takes the same approach Green Bay did.

The jockey asked him what he thought of Washington's secondary and he yelled out, "I WANT SPRINGS!"

Oh yeah, and they asked him if he was upset last night and T.O. said, "Yeah of course I was upset! Upset with myself. I knew I wouldn't have many chances and the ones I did get, I felt like I blew them. I apologized to Tony and the team and told them I would make up for it next week."

--------------------------------------------------

I'm still basking in the glow from last night's W... but now I can't wait for Sunday. :starspin

So either TO will get another four touchdowns or the Skins will triple cover him and Marion and Felix will run for another 200 yards.

I suspect we may see exactly that. It may happen a few games in fact. Thats the big difference between this yrs team and the past two. We needed big games from Owens to make the offense go before because we couldnt run the ball consistent enough to get teams out of those junk defenses. Now we can.

It also opens stuff up elsewhere for other guys.

Oh the irony...

Using morals and values as your pedestal while using about 5 different curse words in two posts, including bypassing the filter.

Funny stuff.:laugh2:

both Doughty and Carlos Rogers were guilty of getting beat on that Larry Fitzgerald 60+ yard bomb
Doughty took the blame for it after the game. He said that they were playing cover two, but he stepped up to try to convince Warner that he was playing man, and he couldn't get back in time. Rogers had a terrible first game, but two solid games since then.

Unlike Emmitt, T.O. has a big mouth and doesn't have the rep he does. It's a business your right. If I had a problem with the owner I will talk to the owner and not cry about it to the rest of the world. I like what T.O. has done for the cowboys, on the field. I still don't have to like him. I don't cheer for him when he score a touchdown. I cheer because the cowboys scored a touchdown. Yes, Irvin and them were in their faces but thats during the game in the heat of battle, heck I have done that(when I was younger). Not when he has a ton of microphones stuck to his face. The other day(actuall 2 weeks ago) I had a problem at work so I took the manager to the office and talked to him about it. Had it been T.O. he would of made a big scene. I support all the players I just don't have to like them. I support Pacman but I don't like him either. Don't even get me started on him. I know exactly what I'm talking about otherwise I wouldn't be here argueing with you.

I wonder if you were saying the same thing about T.O. in his first year. Wa Wa they won't throw me the ball. Wa Wa why am I here. They kept throwing him the ball and he kept dropping the damn thing. Atleast he doesn't drop ball anymore I will give him that. I don't have a problem with his play just his character. BTW I'm 28 and sorry if I stand for classy players instead of trashy ones.

So, in other words, because T.O. has made mistakes in the past, you will never forgive him. Gotcha.

Because his mistakes were much worse than what Michael Irvin did off the field. And he had a LOT more character issues than, oh I don't know, Charles Haley.

But I'm sure you despise Irvin and Haley as well. Because you're surely not a hypocrite or anything, right?

I never said I was perfect. We all have flaws. I meant morals like not being professional. Not bashing your teammates. Not disrespecting a team like the cowboys. Players with class. Like Staubach and Aikman. We all make mistakes in my life god knows I have. It's how we change that matters. Learning from his mistakes. If T.O. keeps up his so far good guy, team player image for lets say the rest of his career here in Dallas I may change my mind. Just like I did with Irvin. Until then I hate T.O.s guts.

Try being classy yourself, then you can ask for classy players.

Which is a miracle. Don't like the guy. Never have and never will. Never will get over him disrespecting the star. Same way I will never get over the guy who disrespected my mom 12 years ago. The only reason why he is happy is because he finally got his money and because Romo has been good for his career. Don't even get me started on those fake tears. Do you honestly think that if he has 3 or 4 more consecutive bad games that he will keep his mouth shut. Yeah right. Not even in my dreams does he keep his mouth shut. **** T.O.!! You are looking at the biggest T.O. hater of them all. You don't have to like it you just have to accept it. Just like I accept T.O. being a member of my team. Even though I hate it and can't stand him. I wouldn't like him if he gave me a million dollars. I'll take it but I will still despise him.

Ding, ding, ding!! We have a winner!! Can you honestly sit there and tell me TO hasnt made a drastic change for the better? Seriously? Just 4 seasons ago, TO was on the sideline throwing a fit, screaming at McNabb about not getting him the ball during a game they were WINNING! You would never see that now...there isnt a single shred of doubt in my mind that TO has grown and matured a signifigant amount since coming to Dallas.

I can completely understand your hatred for the man years ago, I was one of the "I dont know if I can watch this team while that cancer is here" guys, but as time wore on, I quickly noticed a solid 70% of his "problems" were media created. You don't wanna cheer for the guy? Don't man, that's not a big deal, but what's the point of coming in here and spewing vile hatred for the guy? Especially considering how much he's grown and changed over the last 3 or 4 seasons. Strength of conviction is a really good thing, but occasionally it can be blinding. Perhaps if you stepped back a minute, maybe look at it from a different angle, you'll see things a little differently. I dunno...I dont post much, but that really seems to be an unhealthy hatred for anyone..let alone some dude you dont know.
