and falls down for no gain. I guess this was an appropriate end to his season and likely his Cowboy career (I'll make the assumption he won't be having any carries in a playoff game) I thought he had a chance of being a good KR and even bringing some needed speed to the backfield on occasion this year.

As it turns out he did neither and will very likely be looking elsewhere for employment.

Eh, if we say bye bye to Julius, I could then see him sticking around. Same back, less money.

Mickey Spagnola was convinced (before the season) that we'd have a three headed monsters in our backfield. Turned out that monster only had one head, and it wasn't even the starting head.

I don't know where anyone gets off thinking Tyson Thompson would be anything of value for us.

Barber, McFadden, and ... ANYONE would be nice in our backfield next season.:D

A free agent rookie would be as good. Why waste more time on Thompson?

I highly doubt Tyson Thompson is here next season. I think it was painfully obvious last year to the Coaching Staff that he wasn't going to be a factor in the Run Game. I think there was hope that with his speed he could be a Special Teams contributor, but Miles Austin pretty much proved he was superior in that the department.

We know what Julius Jones and Tyson Thompson are, time to cut ties and move on.
