It's the tip of his index finger. I'm not sure which hand but they will put a splint on it and he will play (per Talkin Cowboys).

I'm sure he can rely on his preferred body catching style while it heals, I just hope it doesn't effect his down field blocking on running plays

As others have noted, he doesn't catch with his hands anyways so it really should not be that much of a big deal.

We really need him to be effective when Dez is double teamed. Seemed like he was that guy earlier in the season. He has been a diligent downfield blocker throughout the season, I just hope he gets back into the mix.

TWill didn't say he wouldn't play (of course)...my comments were more generalized....there shouldn't be ONE guy on this team that isn't willing to play hurt with what their franchise QB does day in and day out

“I didn’t want to say anything,” Williams said, referring to the team’s training staff. “I didn’t want to come out of the game. I thought I could play through it.”
Williams did finish the game but didn’t catch another pass.
This week, Williams has practiced with the injury, wearing a splint, with two pieces of tape. One goes around the top knuckle of the finger and another vertical piece which covers and protects the tip.
Williams said he will have to wear a larger size glove this week just to get over the splint.
“Well, it’s going to hurt,” he said Tuesday. “There’s no getting around that. But I think you just have to block it out and go play. This is a huge game for us. It’s going to take a lot more than this to keep me out.”

I was glad to see Beasley have the game he had. 2 big catches for good yardage and a TD. May not be right but everyone at my house still calls him Ms. Beasley. lol

Last game was tough on the fingers apparently though. He fractured a finger and two players broke their thumbs apparently.
