I haven't posted in a while but I have been watching the post. I still see the weakness of the team is in the middle of the defense. Collins has foot problems and Irving is a no show (we will regret not drafting a 1T). Dak is going back to school to learn how to properly set his feet, full body rotation, and to release quicker (he has been watching Brady films). My crystal ball says the offense WILL be efficient but the defensive line will be the weakness of this team. Watching the draft you have to notice that the defensive line and offensive lines were the most early drafted positions. I see trench warfare has come back to the NFL. The run game will dominate and those who live by the pass WILL die by the pass. Should be be a very exciting season but the Cowboys have made to many mistakes in personnel and I have them somewhere between 4-12 and 8-8.

Bring your popcorn:)

Lol, I bet you had the same outlook when Romo went down in 2016 too....lol

Oh, woe are we Cowboys.

Please someone, i want some cake and I want to eat it too.

All teams have weaknesses. If I can say anything good about Uncle Rod Marinelli itsi that his DL generally perform well despite the material he has to work with.

Imo we didn't make enough changes on the coaching side for me!

Richard and Lal just didn't seem like enough. I feel like jerry tap danced around firing who really should have been fired and trying to give us enough just to feel somewhat satisfied.

We have the right players in place but I believe rod and linehan will be the poison pill that will do us in at the end.

They are who they are and will tuck tail when the heat is on.

Garrett, rod, linehan

When the hell will this era be over

What are the personnel mistakes youre referring to?

Nothing is more frustrating as a fan than watching your defense get gashed on the ground right up the gut. Hopefully we can get some quality DT play on early downs but the talent level is not very good.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I think this defense is a top 10 defense this year. Im really excited to see them get after the qb and to watch our young dbs develop.

Just got to say I see many playing the safe bet with saying less that 8-8, if the cowboys do better then that they can say great the players stepped up their game better than their talent or whatever, if the 'boys are less than 8-8, then they claim to have predicted it.
It takes guts to say 10-6 which is what I say they will be.

With the way the DL is used there are enough tackles. Between position flex for Crawford and Ealy there are plenty of DT to go around. This is not the ground and pound Era where you need 330 lbs space eaters for 2 downs.
Ealy can't play inside, he's only 275. Crawford is the only guy with any position flex.

And I'm sure if they don't hit 10 wins you'd never claim "injuries!" ;)

Neal Woods Price Ross Ward Ash Crawford

4 of these guys will be playing week 1

Jones can play inside and Taco can too (he did at Michigan). We also have Ward & as you mentioned Crawford. Irving will be back after 4. Price & Ash at 1 tech. We'll be OK.
