Not sure what you're asking. On Sunday, you can only suit up 46 out of the 53 guys on your roster. Some guys are inactive because they're hurt. Others are inactive because there are 46 other guys the team would rather have available. Taco was in that category. It means some combination of (1) he's not a good player and (2) he has a bad attitude.

I disagree. If he got 80% of playing time which means he would constantly be out there he would be a 7+ sack a year guy and he could set the edge on running downs. Don’t think it’s fair to say that about a guy who is behind Tank and Gregory.

It's possible Taco is a bust. I'm not going to throw dirt on his grave yet. There are a number of DEs that take a few years to reach their ceiling - and it was well known Taco wasn't a finished product coming out. Besides, we were calling another DE who was picked 6 spots later in his draft a bust until last season.

At least Dallas, for once, is distributing responsibility based on what has been earned instead of pedigree.

Normally I expect Dallas to let the 1st round pick play just because he's a first round pick, kinda like our HC is Garrett because of his dad, our OC is Linehan because of Garrett, our QB Coach is Moore because of Linehan, and 90% of the NFL world believes none of then deserve it.

Even the best drafting teams can miss on 1st round picks. This guy fits in that category. Hopefully they shop him around this offseason before he just flat out doesn’t make the roster next year. Maybe they can get something for him.
