I'm a fan of taller frames and longer arms. So needless to say, I always liked Taco. Imagine the combined wingspan of our Dline if everyone was 6'5" or so.

Dang Marinelli and his rushmen mentality on the DL.

No different than Marcellus Bennett...Bennett could play...did not get along with coaching staff. Witten should have given up some of his snaps to TRY to make it work. DL is weakness for this team...jimmy would have made this work!

Bennet was a great blocker for us and underutilized in the passing game. We didn't resign him b/c we didn't want to pay 2 TE's big money. Taco is a whole other ball of wax. We let him go b/c the coaches did not personally like him....... which is a sad commentary on the country club atmosphere pervading the star.

Not true....have you heard the story about Jimmy cutting a player because he fumbled or because he fell asleep in a meeting? IF....IF....you could play....Jimmy and Bill found a way to look past the off the field issues. Look no further than Bill Parcells...who ignored a TON because of LTs talent.

Never heard of a player falling asleep in a meeting for either. Some coaches just command respect. Both coaches believed it foolish to treat every player the same. The more production, the more leeway. Makes sense.

Who cares? Oh, only the people who want to come on here and say,"Management sucks. We should have kept him. It's all Marinelli's fault." No argument from me there. I never liked the pick and I'm glad he's gone. I couldn't care less what he does as a Dolphin.
