Not sure which is wore....the fact that he is gambling like that given his situation, or the fact that he's that bad at predicting NFL games.

Should have bet on the Boys. I think we are 5-1 against the spread.

Very disturbing on so many levels, if true.

I guess with all the attention the NCAA paid to Johnny Football, they missed what Boyd has been up to.

Nah, I think the Manzeil(SP) family used some of grandpa's wildcatter money to hire a top notch PI.
One Heisman candidate down...........

His Heisman chances were gone after Clemson got destroyed this weekend anyways. It's a 3 horse race now between Mariotta, Winston, and Manziel.

I think what they worry about in these situations is that he would take a dive or point shave on his own games as a way of recouping the money, or as a way of repaying the debt to someone. I would also be interested in who he is gambling with if it isn't Vegas, there are a lot of legal issues now with internet/offshore gambling.

I doubt it's an offshore book. Those require you to put up the money up front into an account with which you gamble. Obviously you can max out the credit cards and take out loans to fund this, but generally speaking you won't owe the offshore bookies any money since they get it in advance.

His NFL potential is not that great anyway. Best case for him is that he goes to a team with a strong running game where he won't be relied to win every game on his own. Maybe that destination is Houston
