When he was w/ the Giants...he was absolutely clueless what he was doing. But the tools are there....that's the thing. If a good DB coach could get ahold of this kid...then you might have something. Problem is....really good DB coaches that teach the fundamentals on the NFL level...don't exist. Your expected to know these things already.

If you take the officiating out of it, or leave it in, Eli Apple is single handily the only reason we beat New Orleans with our offense in the Dome 2 years ago. He’s worthless.

Him being picked at 10 is an awful, awful reason to consider picking him up now. I was SHOCKED they took him at 10. Early 2nd rounder for me at best. They just tried to outsmart everyone else. It seriously looked like a Jerry pick from 5 or 6 years ago.

As much of an OSU fan I am, he was great in college. But pass on him in the NFL. Lewis, Awuzie, Brown, and a draft pick and maybe Westry shows improvement this season. All are better. Apple would be one of those you sign if you have 4 CB's go down with injuries.

I just hope our need at corner doesn’t persuade the Cowboys to sign this guy based on his ranking coming out of college. HE IS TERRIBLE in the NFL. If the draft doesn’t fall right, I would rather be stuck with Lewis, Chido and Brown as our starters than Eli Apple.

I have not followed him or paid much attention to him since he went to the Saints.

I thought he had somewhat "turned it around" after joining the Saints.

Regardless, he is not a good personality to add to the roster.
