Each of the 50 states is special in its own way. But much like a class of pampered elementary school students, everyone gets an award for something. Here’s what’s written on the certificate sure to be hanging from each state’s fridge.

I think they mentioned that bc most (new to me anyway) wouldn't pair Texas (oil) as the biggest practitioner of "alternative" wind energy in the US. They are just having fun and I am probably giving the list too much credit...like mentioned indoor plumbing, least smokeless tobacco usage, randomness, etc. But there were some random cool facts to be found in there. Reminds me of a good drinking game set up...

On this list, Texas doesn't even make the top 40.

Condomania.com, which claims to be America’s first online condom store (who knew!), has decided to conduct its own very important, highly scientific study*. According to a press release, the website compiled condom sales data by state to find out which states bought a higher-than-average amount of larger-sized condoms.

The result? A list of all 50 states, “ordered by ***** size”–and some surprising news for the Dakotas.

  1. North Dakota
  2. Rhode Island
  3. South Dakota
  4. District of Columbia
  5. Massachusetts

They don't have Skoal and the like at the counter (usually near lotto) at convenience stores in NJ? Never really thought to look when visiting tbh. Dip is pretty common in football/baseball culture(Romo).
