Would you then be comfortable with him being a full time DE, he goes from 240ishi to 270ish, how would he then be against the run/pass? A freak like him, i'm not sure that he looses any quickness. Please give your thoughts.

No. I think using him more like they did his rookie year is the solution. He should be playing LB on running downs

Make Parsons 350 LB and put him at NT. The next Vita Vea.

I don't think weight is the issue. I watched Jason Taylor for years play as low as 240lb and still be a good two way DE. And he was taller than Parsons.

Asking a guy to put on 30lbs in an offseason is insane and the majority of that wont be good weight. You also have the issue that Micah has to learn to become an entirely different player at that point. 0% chance he still has his elite level speed/quickness at that point and now has to learn to be more of a power rusher. You might be able to have Micah put on 10lbs or so, but that is probably about it. Honestly I don't think it's smart for either Micah or the Cowboys to have him go through a total body transformation like that at this point. If you're going to pay the guy $30+MM a year you should like the player he is today. And if I'm Micah I'm not doing anything that drastic before I get paid.

I've been waiting on someone to say this for weeks now!!!!!!!! There have been others around his weight that have been successful

we know this would never happen he wouldn't be concerned with the love of football by adding 30lbs lol, 10 or so lbs of muscle weight ok

Put 30 pounds on him and he would probably be as slow as Mazi coming off the ball. Parsons game is all about speed and quickness.

He is a good LB. But got a taste of rushing the passer and Quinn started using him more and more as DE. Going against double and triple teams all season has him worn down by playoffs. They were actually calling the holds against him in packers game, he should have wrecked the game and did nothing. Like the rest of the team.

Not sure scaling an Aston Martin DBS down to an Acura Integra is the best course of action in this case.

Mazi should take the 50 pounds of sloppy lazy blubber fat he's pretending he lost and add it to the squat rack so he can lose the remaining 120 pounds of baby fat he has hanging off his carcass that is clogging his arteries and aging heart 5 years for every 1 year he lives.

Sure, he'll still suck at football...but at least maybe he'll live to see 50. Or at least 45.

Micah sucks.

If anything I'd just try and plump him up to like 700 pounds (it wouldn't be hard), and just wheel him out onto the field on 3rd and 1, plop him right down over the center, and dare them to try and Tush Push for a yard against a massive, shapeless 700 pound mound of immobile sweaty blubber.

Was Mazi examined at the combine about weigh concerns?
