Peter’s has been the backup at both G and T. But we have no one behind the guards if Peters plays T. Makes sense to me. You can’t risk a game not having backups for every spot on the OL.

Josh Ball has been active for all games.

Shepley has been active in recent games and played OC at the end of the Vikings game.

Before Shepley it was Lindstrom.

Before Lindstrom was Farniok.

Waletzko was active in 3 games (before Peters was active).

Collins is a tackle. I wonder if there is a chance they start Peters at left tackle and move Tyler to left guard this game. Something to keep an eye on. Along with who is sick tomorrow morning.
Hmmm… guessing it probably has more to do with filling the line positions on the special teams units!

I knew the injured players had been active once upon a time as backups. I did not realize that Ball had been active as the OT backup lately. Still, I thought Aviante was pretty solid at LT in preseason. Maybe they are taking a look to decide who gets waived later when we activate Washington and Tyron. :)

Yes, Ball has been active for all the games but was DNP in the first 3 of them meaning no snaps played including ST.

Hard to know with the Illness issue.

I do think they try to reward PS players with an activation when possible.

Last week OL Shepley and RB Ollison were the active ps players.

Maybe Collins has practiced at OG; otherwise they are light on interior OL backups, although both Peters and Tyler are options at OG. McGovern would be the backup OC without Shepley, Lindstrom or Farniok.

They did this last game right? Not all game but I thought I saw Peters at left tackle last game.
