Well, I was out of market today so I had to go to BWWs.
It sucked. For some unknown reason, Pittsburgh fans were all over this place. The only TV Dallas was playing on was right next to what must be the Pittsburgh section.
So that was a real treat. Watching and hearing these guys cheer as their defense mauled the Titans.
7 turnovers. It was unreal.
But, it was kind of funny. Early on there was a discussion about a certain linebacker. I think it was Ray Lewis. I wasn't listening to the whole conversation but I think they started off talking about the Bengals/Ravens game and that turned into a discussion about Ray Lewis.
Anyway, they were saying that Lewis is a piece of crap. Which really isn't far off the truth. They were downplaying his game which was a joke because the man still brings it. One dude said that Ray Lewis can be stopped by just getting a blocker on him. Like that was some simple task that could be done.
Anyway, here's where it got real good. One guy says "ya know, the only linebacker who's a good guy is our guy". And another dude nods and says "You mean, Harrison. I agree".
And then they all agreed.
Guess they forgot about his little domestic dispute a while back.
Anyway, they loved their day I suppose. They were waving terrible towels all over the place. One little kid, the son of the ring-leader of this clan of Steeler fans, was wearing a Rapo jersey which kind of made me laugh. Talking about high character guys and this kids got a sex offender jersey. Even funnier, when Kerry Collins came in they were chastising the hell out of Collins for his drinking problems.
That was my day. Overall unproductive and swamped by Steelers fans while Dallas was getting slapped all over the place.
