• Tony Romo has been sitting out the team parts of the practice, but was in on some Blitzes and he was able to contort his body showing that his back is healed enough to do those types of things.

• Romo passes have good velocity and on target.

• Concerned about Romo not in the afternoon practice? No, just not wearing him out because he hasnt been involved in this type of practice in awhile. Let him work in and increase his snaps.

• English was a converted DE, and you would look at him like Martez Wilson. He is like 2 weeks away from surgery. Cowboys had him in to see where he is at for future considerations.

• Cowboys arent worried about McClain Garrett and McClay dug into his situation and spoke to coaches and people and were comfortable with the player.

• Buying stock(players)
Cahill - Devin Street, Safe pick he says.
Broaddus - Gavin Escobar, they are involving him alot more. TE sets slot and wide.
Mickey - Lance Dunbar, Oppurtunity to cash in.
Sydney - Ben Gardner, hearing alot of good things on the player. Big motor guy

They decide to go again
Sydney - Cole Beasley, Safe pick
Mickey - Terrell McClain, what he seen he likes his mobility
Broaddus - Jakar Hamilton, good range and could get work with the ones.
Cahill - Henry Melton, probowl player

Round 3
Cahill - Dustin Vaughn, Cahill is a tool
Broaddus - Davin Coleman, under the radar
Mickey - Tyrone Crawford, rotational player
Sydney - Davante Hollomon, sleeper

• Morris Claiborne was her other guy she had wanted to pick. Broaddus taks about the noticable different hin Claiborns body. And adding in Marinelli working with him and just looks like a different player and just seems to be playing with confidence now.

• Wilcox just looks quicker and slimmer. Has the athletic ability but his problem last yr was inexperience.

I'm thinking we don't see Romo in a game until week three of the preseason (the "dress rehearsal" game).

Why in the why couldn't we do this last year? That is all we ask if you pick someone that high. Thanks Linny
Mickey - Terrell McClain, what he seen he likes his mobility
This was vaguely mentioned when signed but due to his size was pegged as the 1. Didn't know anything about him tbh but looks like he was more insurance on the chance of missing on a real talent @ the 3 tech. The team stole Melton so his signing could transform his role into depth/push for the 1, etc. Should work out either way and can cut bait...

They also said that Dwayne Harris has lost more weight (or moved it around) and looks strong.

I really like Harris and I think he is really starting to come into his own. It seems like he gained a ton of confidence last year.

I really like Beasley, but I like Harris too and wouldn't mind seeing him get some chances out of the slot. I'm afraid that Beasley kind of has that position sewed up though.

BTW LatinMind, the written recap is much appreciated. Nice job.
