Okung, Bulaga (who I think is over rated), Davis, Williams, and maybe Campbell the way he is impressing at the Underwear Olympics apparently are the first tier guys. Then Ducasse, Brown and Safford and some others here and there. I think the second tier is still up for grabs. I got to figure that the top guys are gone by #12 or so. Depending on how many make the second tier, we might get a shot at one of them when we come up to bat. My pet cat Veldheer is probably in the third tier that means second rd. The way the talk is going there is thought that maybe as many as 10 tackles go in the first rd this year.

I really think we need to get a tackle this year that we can have ready to play in two years or less. That means no real projects. Veldheer really impressed me with the way I have seen him move at the combine; and his demeanor. Really concentrating and serious; not joking and playing around. I have made it a point to watch him as much as possible and he really seems to get how important this all is. Best of all he is gettable in the second rd, maybe without even having to trade up. The way he is looking he has probably already risen out of the third rd. Being from such a small school I doubt that he can rise much more.

i think brown from usc could go in the 1st as well.

the big knock on him was his weight, but he's almost the same size as okung.

the weight difference between the two is only around 3-4 lbs i think.

and brown is very athletic as well being a former te.

in any case, a lot of ot are going in round 1.
