It...does...not...matter. Brady has played in and been part of so many winning championship teams that no loss can impact his mental preparedness and confidence.

The most concerning item on the agenda is Dak's mental preparedness and lack of confidence. This is a player who literally bombed the first game of the season against the team he is going to play against in the wildcard game. And he bombed last week's game against Washington. He bookended the season with bombs. Washington and Tampa play similar types of defenses - tight coverage with small but NFL open windows. If Dak comes out with a number of three and outs against Tampa, or does another pick 6, his confidence will be shot and it will be one-and-done and a long day for Cowboys fans.

We had our guy play the whole game, they pulled theirs in the half. The guy has never lost to us once in his career. We have lost two season openings to them in a row. With that being said I wanted one more shot at Brady before he retires to give him that one playoff loss (could be his last one in his career). Cowboys are going to win this one, because we either play very poorly or we just barely pull off a win. We nearly lost to backups to the Titans who couldn't even make the playoffs, and then got our butts handed to us last week. So we are due for a win.

What a joke of a thread, really? Did you even watch the Tampa Bay game? Tampa Bay clocked out after the first half because they did what they needed to do to get ready. We couldn't do what we needed to do all damn game. Dak played terribly (showed his true colors even fuller than usual) and Tom Brady played effective football.

If anyone thinks we have a good shot against the GOAT in the playoffs you are a clueless homer. I think Tom Brady has lost to the Cowboys like once. He will have a heyday with this defense. Tampa Bay will focus on stopping the run. Receivers will drop enough passes for the Dak lovers to blame it on them instead of Dak's off-target throws and picks and we will rinse and repeat next year. Don't even need a crystal ball, this stuff writes itself.

Let's be clear Tom Brady has a better supporting cast on offense then Dak. We wish we had Evans, Goodwin, Gage and Julio to throw the ball too.

The only wr we have that would even start in that crew is Lamb. Noah Brown probably wouldn't even make their roster yet he is starting and getting valuable target in ours.

Teams know to double or even triple cover Lamb and then single up on Gallup and Brown. Gallup might be better next year but this year the separation just isn't there. And don't get me started on Schultz. I am still surprised he placed a franchise tag on that bum.
Lol Julio is done. Noah Brown is the better receiver at this point in their careers. Also, Brady's oline is way worse than Daks

Tampa didn't play their starters the whole game. The excuse that Dallas wasn't trying to win the game really can't be used since the starters were in the whole time.

Brady did not play the second half. They had zero to play for. We were trying to win. Huge difference and you can't compare the two.
He didn't play the 2nd half. Working out here in Austin they showed it on local channel. They started out firing, I myself was like "Oh No" he's flipped the switch. Falcons started pressuring, Bucs got sloppy turned the ball over and the falcons started scoring. That's when they started pulling players. Then again they didn't have evans and someone else I don't remember due to illnesses.

We weren’t trying to win it was a game to tune up.

Brady had how many TDs in 1st half?
Brady didn't even play the entire 1st half. He threw one TD and they kicked a FG in the time he did play.

If the Cowboys weren't trying to win, why did they play their starters until late in the 4th quarter? I doesn't make sense to play starters and instruct them to lose the game, risking both injury, and going into the playoffs with a losing mentality.

Even if the argument was they didn't instruct them to lose, but just didn't prepare them to win, again, what would be the benefit to the starters in doing that?

LOl you think jerry logs into the zone and listens to youre Whines? Ill give you my take for what its worth. I never get to up or too down with this team because they have been inconsistent for years probably since the early 2000's. I said weeks ago probably before the Jags game that this game smelled of danger as the cowboys struggle against strong young quick lines. I pretty much felt we were going to lose this game. I didnt think they would be that pathetic but I was counting on a loss.
This is the same team that beat tennessee and Philly and minny and put up 34 against Jacksonville so I fully expect them to play good enough to win next week. They havent lost 2 straight since last year. Same fans whining about yesterdays performance have most likely been whining all year. If the cowboys dont play like they did against Minny they suck or the coaching staff sucks or the QB is the #1 problem pick and choose youre beef.

This team is and has been soft for years when they get punched in the nose they punch back like a girl. Now that being said if a few things fall into place like the other team has more turnovers than then them at critical junctures this team is good enough to make noise as there are several flawed teams in the NFC

But if you are a NFCCG game or bust fan you might as well prepare yourself that its not going to happen unless the things i mentioned happen. they are too soft they are too injured at critical spots. And they are not talented enough at the spots they need to be. The Oline was horrible yesterday and if we know one thing about Dak if he isnt protected well hes not going to overcome it most times He plays with that deer in the headlights thing you got yesterday.

all this whining like teenage age girls is pointless in my opinion and solves nothing. Its a week to week league they could be a completley diffent team next week. Heck most of you wanted the cowboys to sit the starters anyhow. Its a loss no biggie they havent been eliminated.
I mean to be fair they are pretty consestant in the "Jerry way" times... but i agree last weeks play will have no bearing on wether the come and play Monday night, they will either come and play and make a run or they will "Jerry Way" and bow out. The Washington game was ugly but in the end means nothing.

Typical Dallas pom-pom type. They sucked so we should also. Can't wait to see the coming excuse if we lose next week:facepalm:

Most fans in here know-you should also- that with this team you don't know what we'll get next Monday. I'm not the problem. It's the team....You could get last Sunday's team or the Minnesota victory team or anything in between. Dallas is quite figgle. They are like the girl that loves you one minute-then want to leave the next.
