My advice is don't watch. This is a mediocre team which doesn't deserve your time .

I turned it off. Bad uninspired football doesn't need to be watched. Coaching is awful and scared Dak showed up.

A half way decent team will always destroy the Dallas Cowboys in their current version. The offense is mid, the defense is terrible and the special teams is putrid.

I just watched the second half replay. I was sleeping soundly and missed it live. My God I am happy I went to bed.

The 4th down decision. The fumble. Dak looking like he is scared. The 2 point try decision. The picks. Ferguson being the joke he is. The run defense - not.

They suck. It's a broken organization.

Outside of the coaching debacle and all that fun stuff.

1. Ferguson is awful. Can't catch, can't block and can't hold onto the ball. Seems like another guy that checked out after being paid. I rather see Schoon and Spann Ford, latter more, over seeing ferg out there again. Piss poor player

2. The edges are not contained at all on runs. I rather see Quinn/Parsons level effort than what I've seen from Gary/EZE/Miller. The inside isn't really much better either. Clark sucks. Williams seems to make a play or effort here or there.

3. Missed tackles from every one. Too many arm tackles, and at times when they weren't even "Gassed" on the field for 8+ minutes.

4. I thought watching Miami would be worse on defense. Nope, Dallas is worse. Injuries aside, no one looks like they know what they should be doing. Maybe Matt E wasn't that "awful" afterall or we have two back to back idiot DCs. Miami lacks talent, but they are at least showing effort. There is no effort for the most part here.

5. For all the weapons this team has, in reality just CDL and Pickens, they sure know how not to scheme either one open on a week to week basis. There's no creativity on mixing it up when the Bucs decided to blitz the A gaps almost every passing down. I don't care how good their corners are. If we have 2 #1 "WRs" you need to get it done.

6. For all the talk about the offensive line and Smith back, it didn't look that great. Sure Vea is there, but Smith is also an All-pro guard, right? Vea is also over 30. 4

7. You can cut Stewart, Revel, Bland and get guys off practice squads and get the same results. This secondary feels as bad as the Dwayne Goodrich days of the early 2000's.

8. Downs even looked like a JAG last night.

That was a huge home loss. Prime time game against a winless team with an undrafted rookie QB. You can't play worse and look more uninspired. Shotty needs to cut some players and coaches this week. Put some fear in these players and coaches.

It’s no coincidence that the Cowboys were relevant with legitimate head coaches: Johnson and Parcells, who also had control over personnel decisions, were disciplinarians and commanded the players respect.
This is strictly on Jerry Jones, who for whatever reasons refuses to go out and hire a legitimate HC; and instead, hires those with zero head coaching experience to placate his ego. In the NFL, all teams have talent so good coaching is crucial to a team’s success.
This is a dysfunctional organization from top-to-bottom with poor culture…one reaps what they sow.

We need to talk about Caleb Downs. What exactly is he supposed to be doing? Because he’s making 0 impact.

I was really excited about the pick at the time. And I don’t get excited about draft picks.

I know it’s early but man he was pretty bad out of that safety spot the last two games.

Dallas gave up 165 yards before contact, the most by any team in a game this season. Undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels completed 19 of 25 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown.

That is beyond pathetic. This wasn't ATL with Bijan, or Lions with Gibbs. This was an Bucs team with Bucky Irving. The defensive tackles are not difference makers, the edge can't stop the run, and the linebackers aren't consistent enough to fill the gaps. Barham is a rook and has flashed here and there but also has had two games where his effort looks lacking when they are down.

I believe I had us at 9-10 wins in the preseason prediction poll by Reality.

That appears to have been overly optimistic, I am thinking 7-8 wins is the ceiling this year.

I had them at 2-3 at this point. Someone started a poll.

It’s so easy to be right about the Cowboys.

Starting to look like it...defensively I think it's scheme...coach lacking in experience. Parker should be upstairs so he can see the entire field. I think he loses a lot in perspective being in the wash of players.

As a team...we just looked slow...not ready to play. Bucky Irving made us look like we were wearing concrete shoes.

But one of the biggest red flags I see...you got way too many players tapping out for various reasons. Everyone plays hurt in the NFL...Yet our guys...just seem to tap out @ a whim. That's a mental thing that this coaching staff has allowed to happen.
