It’s been that way for a while. We always expect our talent to beat teams. Works against lesser teams. But.

I will say since they clinched they have been more vanilla than usual. Dak sliced up the best defense in the league and since has thrown pick 6 in about every game. Taking lots of chances.

Defense has dropped off in pressures. Wonder if they dial it up this week.

Kinda surprising since Kellen Moore's offense is allegedly the most complicated ever.

This literally sums up why this team will never take the next step and struggles against talent. I am sure Kellen Moore is drawing up some exotic scheme with HB ISO’s on first down, jet sweeps and roll out rights on second down with some curl routes on third down.

“They don’t run anything really exotic defensively,” Evans added. “And offensively, they’re just a really talented team, and they’re just going to play straight-up and see if you can beat them. So we’ve got to come with our best.”

I think they know they must get Dak out of the pocket.

Hopefully they will.
Interested to see we hat MM does if we fall behind. Does he continue to stand there arms crossed?
If he does, he needs to begin packing

As simple as we may be we won 12 games and have more wins against winning teams than any other team. That being said, yes we are simple and when we can’t win on talent advantage alone, our coaches can’t create an advantage via scheming or adjustments.

We better hope we play a clean game, no TO’s and minimal penalties if we are to win Monday night. And it would be nice to come out with tempo as it seems to get Dak in rhythm and we all know if Dak starts slow it’ll be a long night.

They are middle tier against the run. Their 3 corners are shut down. Their safeties are garbage in coverage. They struggle to cover TEs as well. The game plan should be simple. Pollard in space, let Davis use his speed. The passing game needs to go through Schultz and Ferguson. Leave Noah Brown on the bench
