The announcers...especially olsen, whom i despise....have been calling our plays for weeks+. If a tv guy who prepares the night before can do it, a dc prrparing all week is a piece of cake.

The average football fan thinks an offensive is suppose to do the opposite every play of what the defense thinks they are going to do. Thats not the case.

The Cowboys want teams to expect them to run on first down and we make them expect that by running the ball on first down. A good RB and good blocking will still get you manageable yardage. When you force them to overcommit because they cant stop the run you go play-action.

They are middle tier against the run. Their 3 corners are shut down. Their safeties are garbage in coverage. They struggle to cover TEs as well. The game plan should be simple. Pollard in space, let Davis use his speed. The passing game needs to go through Schultz and Ferguson. Leave Noah Brown on the bench

Why bench noah? Just return him to his rightful role and stop peeing off cd.

Why would an 8-9 team that scraped their way into the playoffs be laughing at the offense of a 12-5 team that was among the highest scoring in the league?

Our first down problems are because of run blocking. Not because the offense is predictable.

I would love to have a legit coach…

Everyone tries to say Mike and Sean Payton are the same because of their record. Record doesn’t define how well one coaches, wins and losses are organizational.

I can tell you that no one has ever even implied that Sean Payton’s scheme is simple. One of the best offensive minds in the game. 100% would take him over McCarthy who won’t even call his own plays.

did you watch game 1 or the game last year.We run a simple offense based on execution and is easily disrupted especially teams with good DTs.

It shouldn’t matter what plays and/or schemes Dallas runs on offense or defense; the important thing is to do one’s job and beat the man in front of you. At the end of the day it boils down to execution.
I think the Cowboys, both offensively and defensively outsmart themselves at times.

Start with a good GM who evaluate players properly, Mcclay is ok but the talent level of players is average , thats why we cant execute complex schemes…..

I don't like the sound of that. And if I'm Big Mike and Kellen Moore I'm coming at them with all the good stuff we haven't shown anyone yet.

It’s been that way for a while. We always expect our talent to beat teams. Works against lesser teams.

We defeated the 14 win Eagles, 13 win Vikings, 12 win Bengals. So it works against good teams too!
