he needs to run for us to go to the SB. This is year 7, you are paid, there is no more "saving" yourself... if something happens deal with it in the offseason and rejoice your contract is GTD.
if he was in Lamar Jackson situation I would understand, he's already 2 years removed from the injury and paid graciously to take this risk
again, he took off plenty in the eagles game, im sure he will take the risk when necessary,

The Bucs are not even a 500 team. Perhaps they should simplify things more if they aspire to be a 12-5 team.

Like there's good stuff they haven't shown anyone.

"oooh, another variation of the bootleg to the TE in the flat! That'll get em".

Every team in the league runs "simple schemes". Can you execute it is the question?

Translation: Our coaching sucks!

I've been saying this for some years now: It's not talent. We have the talent, and we've had the talent. We've had home-field advantage at least twice under Phillips and Garrett and loss both times in the first round.

We were underprepared and scared against the 49ers last year and got, basically, run out of our own stadium.

And teams since the start of the new millennium have been saying we are very vanilla in our schemes.

If we have players that need a simple scheme to succeed, what that is saying is we don't draft or acquire players who can process complex schemes. Translation: Our players are football smart. Translation: We be dumb!

That's why the better coaches figure us out and why we seem confused and can't measure up to the Packers and 49ers and Bucs (with Brady) of the league.

Everybody else can see it even if Jerry can't. It's infuriating, but what can we do? We're just fans.
Wish I could put 100 likes on this.

That about it sums it up, and it outweighs everything else.

That’s exactly what the problem is, and has been. The opposition has been kind enough to tell us….many, many times, and yet not a thing is done about it.

Why? So Jerry can be ‘comfortable,’ and have “his guy” running the offense, and he can take credit for discovering him.

As I posted elsewhere, Garrett may as well still be here.

It’s been that way for a while. We always expect our talent to beat teams. Works against lesser teams. But.

I will say since they clinched they have been more vanilla than usual. Dak sliced up the best defense in the league and since has thrown pick 6 in about every game. Taking lots of chances.

Defense has dropped off in pressures. Wonder if they dial it up this week.
Exactly what was said of Jason Garrett offense. Hello Kellen Garrett.

According to Mike Evans of the TB Bucs, we have a lot of talent but run simple schemes that are easy to figure out.

I don't like the sound of that. And if I'm Big Mike and Kellen Moore I'm coming at them with all the good stuff we haven't shown anyone yet.
How tough could it be when you feature Zeke over Dak or Pollard? Run Zeke up the middle, run Zeke up the middle. 3rd and long............Tee off

This literally sums up why this team will never take the next step and struggles against talent. I am sure Kellen Moore is drawing up some exotic scheme with HB ISO’s on first down, jet sweeps and roll out rights on second down with some curl routes on third down.

“They don’t run anything really exotic defensively,” Evans added. “And offensively, they’re just a really talented team, and they’re just going to play straight-up and see if you can beat them. So we’ve got to come with our best.”
Anything is better than handing the ball to a slow and plodding, way past his prime, RB that struggles to average 4 ypc and rarely can score outside the 3 yard line.

And yet we havent gone play action despite our pitiful 1st down gain.
How about we teach o line how to block instead?

I have a question. Does this team ever practice these so called fancy plays until they get them right? It certainly doesn't look like it because they never execute them in the right manner. I see fumbles, dropped passes, missed blocks.Dont run them if you can't get it right.

Other coaches have attempted to install and run more complex systems to no avail. Our players have routinely failed to absorb them. Not sure if the coaches or the players are at fault, or both. Is it remotely possible that the scouts and execs aren't up to welcoming smarter players?

If you were playing with a chance to be the #1 seed until the last day of the season AND were holding something back than i would kick your *** out of the building in a heartbeat.
