Did Tampa's win tarnish our win against NO?

BTW on Matt Moore, still pissed about letting him get away. Thank you Matt Moore, that was the final nail for the Giants

New Orleans' FG kicker missed a gimmee with seconds left in regulation that would have won the game.

Matt Moore's playing good, although I still dont believe he's a longterm answer for anybody as a starting QB.

What kind of silliness is this. No it doesn't tarnish our win. We beat a team that was undefeated and an offensive machine. If anything our win was a blueprint for how Tampa and any other team can beat the Saints.

Not one bit.

And it's not the final nail in their coffin. Where do you guys get this stuff?

I meant it was the final nail in the Giants coffin, notice how I was talking about Matt Moore.

I'd like to thank the ref for throwing the block that sprang Spurlock for the td. :lmao2:

New Orleans loss to the Tampa was predicted before the game happen. I just can't remember who predicted it. Someone on TV I believe. Said the Saints were ripe for a second loss. Maybe he was just trying to go against the grain trying to cause a stir, but he made the prediction and did it publicly. That and he wasn't just some schmo on a BBS who has no media reputation to protect.

of course they beat Washington the same way.

This game has no bearing on our win.

We handled them from start to finish in a way that nobody else could.

Yesterday, they blew a 17 point lead over a team that they were better than.

Oakland beat the eagles. With your logic that win was tarnished.

WoW:bang2:

No it did not tarnish the win, Dallas went in to NO who was 13-0 at the time and beat them at their house in a critical game in which most felt Dallas had no chance of winning.

Thats true, but I'd also say niether Washington or Tampa dominated the game vs New Orleans the way we did either. We only won by 7 pts, but for the vast majority of the game it wasnt anywhere near that close.

Naw, Tampa only won because we broke New Orleans' spirit... we made them recognize they weren't invincible, put doubt in their minds... :D

Let's just say that a lot of people here owe Terry Bradshaw an apology. He won't get one, though.
