But the fact remains he will not be paid $25 million next year. His salary will be 15 which would be a good 5-10 million less than what it would have been had he not restructured. Which by the way saved the Cowboys some 10 million against the cap THIS year. My money says he will restructure again next year to help the team with the cap.. again.. and people will still be mad about it.. because they simply want something to be mad about.
The fact remains he's costing us $26m, which is more relevant to both the team and fans. I dont even think the person that you responded to was mad about it, just making a point.
From point of view I doubt we'd be in contention for the play-offs if he didnt tear up his contract and for that im sure the Jones' (and ourselves) should be in his debt.
