Just watched the play again and it was not helmet to helmet. The crown of his helmet hit Moore's should and the momentum of the hit brought Moore's head down making it look like it.

horrible calls all night. i thought it was ticky tacky.

Agreed!

Bad calls both ways. That particular one was awful.

I agree it was a bad call, thought it was interesting how Gumbel made sure to mention how every other call was questionable but didn't say a word about that.

We got calls our way, too.
Whatever, it's all good to me. We won.

I Tivo'd the game and I kept going back and re watching it and it just made me more mad every time I saw it. Stupid call.

That's the only thing that bothered me about that whole thing.

Great play, though. He blew by the lineman. That's why we signed the guy.

Worst call ever. Absolutely awful. Tank barrels into the QB and it's a penalty? Why? It wasn't like he flew in high and speared him in the head.

Makes me sick how they barely let guys play defense anymore.

bad call but if anything it mayed poor calls more even so I have no problem with it.

It's pitiful how much they protect the QB. A guy makes a great play, boom-boom he's there, absolutely doesn't intentionally go for the head, and he gets penalized. This happens waaaay too much nowadays, and it has to make the defenses furious. I'm surprised now when tacklers don't let up at the last second all of the time and give up big plays. The rule needs to be changed to somehow capture intent, launching, etc.

Horrible call. Johnson did nothing wrong. Without segue, PI needs to be a 15 yarder. It's too big of a play time in time out to be a spot foul. Need to go to the college rule. No question. Refs were horrible for BOTH teams. Proctor's holding call? Are you kidding me? Also? Steve Smith caught that ball, and fumbled. Either way, Dallas won. Our Boys are 13-2 (13-2!), and let's hope Kyle Orton comes through tomorrow!

If that was a PF, then the Barber hit was a PF. Looked the same to me.

I agree. It was very similar to the play where MBIII got Jacked up.

we got some in our favor, we got some not in our favor. take one, hush and take the other. that said i'd be surprised if tank got fined as helmets never even touched.

It was the same and it's frustrating. Bad officiating all night from that crew.

That kind of reffing in the SB would be a disaster, like SB XL. It's bad for the game. They let a lot go early in the game and then were very selective, and shall we say, outcome-based when they called fouls.
