I know he's always lumped in with "the troublemakers" let go, what did he do that was negative while he was here? I honestly dont remember anything as far as a locker room cancer or whatever.

Nothing really other than complaining at the end of the season. I believe there was a quote about him saying he didn't give a crap about the Eagles game because he was a free agent, but he was never actually any real trouble while here.

I couldn't care less. He didn't bring anything of value to the team anyway.

He was a bit outspoken near the end of his tenure here (in a negative kind of way)--but I think the main reason he was let go was performance based. He basically was not doing a good job when he was in the game.

I think he hung out w/ Pacman. He was putting himself in harms way. I am glad he is gone. He did nothing for us positive.

After the Eagles game he told everyone in the lockerroom, "I'm a free agent, baby!" ... (like, yeah, I'm out of this mess, you guys can have it ...)

But I don't remember specifics during the season that got out about any malingering or anything. Rumors here and there only, and mostly after the fact.

I also remember it being said he was busting assignments, doing his own thing, which caused for breakdowns on the D-Line.

Well he did tell everybody how much of a beast he was going to be before last season. Of course he promptly went out and played like what he always has been, which is an average DT who got to play next to Tommie Harris for a few seasons and be made to look better than he was.

I, and this is just my opinion, took it as being another Greg Ellis, only with a filthier mouth.

as a back up NG, I thought he was " awright ", nothing major. Salavaii, who I thought had a terrible pre-season, has come on strong and produced more than Johnson did last year, so you can score a + for the Cowboys on that move.

Johnson didn't fit the 3-4 anyways. He's a better player on the 4-3 and he's proving in Cinci.
