I have a question I would like for you guys to weigh in on. Tank has what most would say is a more stable personality than Suh, but I would like for you guys to ignore that fact for this exercise and focus solely on cap hit and ability.

Tank is $17 million cap hit.
Suh is around $14 million cap hit.

Which guy would you want and why?

Tank
Much better player last season than Suh
Age is an obvious one
Plays a more important position
Not a nut case like Suh

DLaw.
younger.
higher up-side.
I dont think we've seen his best yet.
He's so quick, refs can't see the OBVIOUS HOLDING PENALTIES.

Lawrence was a constant presence putting pressure on the quarterback last year, and he's only 25. Suh is a short-term rental at a position where we have a player who had more sacks and passes defensed in half as many games. Irving's 22 tackles in eight games also was nearly half of Suh's 48 in 16.

If you take Irving out of the equation, I still think Lawrence brings more of the consistent pass rush presence that we need.

Lawrence and it isn’t even close. I’d even take Irving over suh.

Sure would be nice if we could have had them both. Suh in the middle would really help the outside edge rushers, IMO.

D-Law. Age is a key factor with the franchise tag. Dallas may use the tag on him again due to his lack of Stats during his first few seasons.

I like Suh as a ball player and his nastiness he brings to the game. If they were both the same age then the discussion would probably sway in Suh's favor. However, that is not the case. Dallas made the better move by retaining D-Law.

D-Law has to keep proving himself before he gets a huge contract.

Prime Suh was a thing of beauty...and he still has gas in the tank.

But the younger, homegrown Tank has the potential to lead/anchor the Cowboys’ DL for years to come.

Tank. He’s not a dirty piece fecal matter.

Charles Manson and Jeffrey Dahmer have more stable personalities than Donkeykong Suh
