Reports are now saying that Hue Jackson was not directly paid to lose but it was the plan. All of that losing to end up with Baker Mayfield at QB. Maybe losing wasn’t just the plan as much as it is just what Cleveland does. Who honestly goes 1-31 for Baker Mayfield?

The Dolphins tanked for Tua.

The Colts ranked and at least got Luck.

I guess the point is, teams obviously tank. How many has it helped?

Isn’t that why the NBA went to the lottery system?
I think so but the Spurs got lucky and got Duncan when they had one of the lowest percentage of ping pong balls in the cylinder so it is not proof.

Teams tend to pick the top QBs in college high. Most don't pan out. But Herbert, Burrow, maybe Lawrence? They look to be pretty good top 5 picks.
