What player would want to lose on purpose so that you can draft his replacement??? Stupid!!!!!! And!!!!! If any player or coach wants to lose, they need to be fired.

Kickers' uniforms are usually clean and blood free. What is their excuse?

Unfortunately, I believe they are trying to win. A lot of people say, “Why would players purposely play bad/not care if they know how truly disposable they are to the owners of the teams and the NFL?” Well. They have Jerry Jones as owner, who’s as senile, ignorant, and delusional as they can get. They could get blown out 73-0 and Jerry would still say “we have a chance” and “ I see no problems with the team, they just had a rough day”, hence why I don’t understand why they don’t just tank. Jerry is extremely easy to fool (Jaylon Smith was paid as an example of this)

most started out playing soccer. i've never understood how people can enjoy a "sport" whose outcome can end in a tie or seldom scores more than one or two points.

Team tanking can come from two sources. One is the FO purposefully keeping bad coaches and removing good players. The other is basically players on auto-pilot mode of not caring, basically bad morale and chemistry in locker room.

Do I think the Cowboys have done that? To a degree the players have been suppressed and are in the nonchalant mode. Obviously Jerry thinks we are winning a superbowl next year with McCarthy,Nolan etc. I don't think on purpose for either side, but sub-consciously, ignorantly, stubbornly- yes.

They don't. A lot of players on this team are playing for their jobs or playing for their career in the NFL in general. Some are playing for incentives and bonuses......

Subconscious consideration would count as an agreement for tanking in my opinion.
