tanner or dunbar?

i think tanner is def on the 53. dunbar is a question mark. i dont see us carrying 4 rbs but also dont see him making it to the PS

Tanner or Olawale is the better question. Dunbar looks intriguing but have we really seen enough of him during the preseason to seriously consider him for the 53?

Hes shifty, but I didn't see him getting many tough yards and that is something both Tanner and Olawale can give. I'm thinking Olawale may be better there and it's possible that winds up being the difference.

Neither will make it to the Practice Squad.

Olawale is Garretts petcat... Tanner and Dunbar are too good to just cut.

Is Tanner eligible for the PS? As for Dunbar, I don't think he's ready for primetime yet, but I do like what he may offer as as return specialist and a change o pace back. I like to think he's earned a spot on the PS tonight.

Can't believe I'm saying it, but I wouldn't mind trading Felix if we can get at least a 3rd for him.

I would like to keep 3 running backs and the two full backs.

Agreed. I would pull the trigger if the offer was good enough. I would even do it for a 4th.

Maybe a 4th, but I feel like that would depend on what the compensatory pick would have been. Not sure how that works.

This is Felix's last year here, so we should get something out of him, and keep these backs and see what they can do.

Felix is going to have a monster season considering the board's lack of expectations of him this season.

Wow Garrett pimpin' Dunbar and Tanner on Post Game.

Is Olawale good on special teams? If he is, I'd like to keep him and see if he can be the guy who can get in the end zone from the one for us.

I'm a huge fan of Felix Jones. I just realize that we're not going to resign him next year, so I think we should be fiscally responsible and try trading him for some value.

Olawale can help us this year, and further if he adds another 10-15 pounds he could be an absolute monster for us in years to come.

Dunbar may have a bigger upside. I think we can slide him in through waivers to the PS.

btw.....sweet sig

No, he was out there whiffing on tackles.

Dunbar has breakaway speed, but I love the power that Tanner runs with and his motor. After the way Dunbar played tonight, he probably gets signed to some other teams 53 if he gets cut. Decisions, decisions...

Tanner was going to go back in and got pulled back out they did not want him to get injured and remember last week he played really well on special teams. The coaches also likes the way he pass blocks.

I pretty sure Tanner is making the cut

definitely tanner. i knew dunbar was capable of this. i just don't know if he's consistent. plus tanner is a hitter on ST.

Damn, Dunbar has a good night in the second half against your new mailman and suddenly he makes Jones expendable.

Dunbar has the same issues that Cole Beasley has....he is smallish and really doesn't have special teams experience. Now maybe he can be a returner, he looked decent on the one before the touchdown.

Tanner is a very good all around back with a high motor. He runs with the same kind of determination and power that Barber did at one time, but he doesn't take the hits like Barber did. If Murray went out, Tanner would be able to do almost everything Murray does except the home run.

Now if they somehow decided to consider trade offers for Jones, then maybe you would keep Dunbar on the 53.
