With the NFL rules, even a mild ding to the head is going to keep players out of practice for several days.

I know it's fun to dog-pile on Tapper due to past injuries but it would be easy to get dinged in the head while running around on the field. I've seen people get concussions playing after-work softball games.

Going back and reading his draft profile it looks like he underachieved in college. Add to that the fact that he hasn't really played here and you have the makings of a guy who has the physical tools (he ran a 4.59 40 at the combine) who doesn't have the heart.
