It looks like the Cowboys will end up at 10 to 12 at this point. To me it looks like bpa will come down to these possibilities that make sense for Dallas.
Ashton Jeanty
Tet McMillan
Luther Burden
Kelvin Banks
Josh Simmons

I'm thinking that the top dline guys will be off the board and it will come down to the offensive list above. They for sure need running back and receiver and could go olineman as well. I know that Simmons is coming off a knee injury, but I feel he is best olineman in the draft. I personally would be happy with Jeanty or Burden. A trade back would also be a possibility.

To me they have got to snag a top receiver, running back, and dtackle. Maybe a trade back does that for them. I would be happy if they got Luther Burden and Omarion Hampton or Kaleb Johnson. They could go with running back or dtackle in the 2nd round.

Also they for sure need to do something in free agency before the draft.

You probably can add Will Johnson and Walker to that list as well.

I wouldn't have Deone Walker on my list. I don't think he is worth a 1st round pick. More of a top 40 guy to me. I would have Kenneth Grant ahead of him.

Not loving the range of 10-12.

You can get lucky of a CeeDee-like situation or if you get lukcy fall behind-backwards and you get a Parsons.

You just can't count on that.
I think that Burden is a good fit in there.

Seems like the best case even if they lose out is 9th so I would love for them to trade down, but not sure there will be a ton of trade partners for them.

Trade down, get another pick or two to move up in the 2nd or 3rd round to grab a RB and take the best DT on their board.

My guess is they mean Jalon Walker LB/Edge out of GA.

Agreed Deone played himself into more of a second round guy this year.

I think they lose tomorrow, they lose out. That would mean a pick inside top 10
If they loose tomorrow I don't see how we win any of the remaining games. Not that we will be tanking on purpose, its just that we won't have the NFL talent on the field required to beat those remaining teams. We won't be favored in any of your remaining games including tomorrow. That's a fact.

Not necessarily in this order but for sure early picks look to be:

1. Cam Ward
2. Shadeur Sanders
3. Travis Hunter
4. Mason Graham
5. Abdul Carter
6. Tet McMillan
7. Will Johnson
8. Kelvin Banks

There's a solid chance we lose out and pick 8 or so. One of these guys is the pick in that situation because they're the safest guys ar high value positions. If we're at 10-12 it gets more interesting.

You have the two guys that belong in the top group but positional value pushes them down in Jeanty and Starks or you're taking a less safe prospect. I don't know that there's a lot of separation in the guys from 10-20 or so talent wise.

DT - Walter Nolen (my personal favorite, elite athlete and good pass rusher but consistency hasn't been there)

Kenneth Grant is supposedly the monster in the middle Mazi was billed to be.

Edge - James Pearce. Great speed rusher. Slight frame, worry about him holding up in the NFL run game, he'll have to bulk up for the NFL.

Jalon Walker. Hybrid pass rusher and off ball linebacker similar to Micah. He has the it factor as a pass rusher but is he a good enough athlete to keep it up in the NFL? As a pure LB he's more of a day two pick.

WR - Luther Burden. Looks like a great athlete and route runner. Smaller than I would want for taking a guy this high with a down year production wise.

OT - I have yet to watch Will Campbell other than the reps he took against Walter Nolen when he slid out to edgem Nolen overall won that battle but it was back and forth. Heard some may view him as a G.

Tons of guys left to watch but these are the tops of the next batch from what I've seen. Seems there's a solid drop after the top 10 or so. If we don't get to pick there we need to hope for Milroe, Nussmier or Dart have a team fall in love with them.

I don't see them getting any higher than 9.

Yep. I think you have it nailed. AFC has some god awful teams this year and I believe the Bears and Giants will lose out. Carolina I believe will beat us, but they probably won't win another game after that unless they beat Atlanta at the end.

Carolina seems to find away to lose in the end. I could see Dowdle running for a 100 yards and us winning 16-13. Our guards and center will give them problems.

Carolina can run the football, our defense is going to struggle stopping it!

Carolina defense is worse than us stopping the run. It will be Dowdle vs Hubbard. I like Dowdle’ s chances. Carolina gives me Commanders vibes.

I’m all for adding another weapon to Ceedee…just not with a top 12 pick. I don’t think adding either a WR or RB in the 1st is going to scratch the surface of this team’s problems.

Get an impact defender or make the o-line great. You can get a WR 2 and RB in rounds 2-4.

You want the Cowboys to lose out because of the high second and third round picks. The Cowboys finish in the top 10 of the draft order there will be no excuses for the Cowboys to not get three starters in the first 3 rounds. You could get lucky and get a first round talent in the second round.
