It was an ankle injury that was supposed to keep him out a few weeks. I don't think he's supposed to miss the opener, though.

That's the reason you can't give up on young, raw players too soon. Funny enough, his defensive coordinator in England is now our defensive line coach. Of course, when we had Obada some of the IPP advantages we have now with Alarcon weren't in place. I wanted us to give him a second year on the practice squad, but truthfully, he needed more time than that to develop.
