Tashard Choice should have more carries

I believe the Cowboys aren't getting Choice invovled enough. This guy is a playmaker and can help the Cowboys score points early. What you think as fans?

I like Choice I also like Barber and Felix. I like Witten, Austin, Williams,Ogletree and Crayton but damn there is only 1 football.

What I like the best though is Dallas winning games and playing offense, defense and special teams very well right now.

I just feel as if he put in the work to get more carries. Felix Jones just needs to be mainly a kick-returner. I believe Choice should get 60% of his carries which is probably like 5 more carries than what Jones usually get.

Giving carries to Choice is taking away carries from Barber, not Felix. I personally think Choice would produce a little better than Barber over the long haul. I also think Choice is the type of back that needs 15+ carries before he really gets a feel of the game.

But obviously the coaches think Barber is a little better, so I don't see anythign changing.

I can't tell. Choice averages more than Barber.

It doesn't matter. We need to get more production out of our runningbacks. Just look at last game when the Cowboys pass the ball in the endzone. That could've been carries to the running back for possible scores.

Our running game has been disappointing since the first three games of the season. However, our passing game has been terrific. I'd like a little more balance. Say an average of 150 on the ground and 260 through the air.

Add to the collection of "_____ should get more touches" threads. Second best offense in the league. I don't care how it gets done, just make sure it gets done.

Wade Phillips mentioned today that one of the reasons he is looking at Kevin Ogletree and Tashard Choice for kickoff returns is because they are expecting to increase Felix Jones' touches on offense now that he is healthy again.

Otree as kr works for me and i agree Choice needs more chances to shine. As I have said before Marion could be expendable in the offseason.

Not saying that they should get fed the ball non stop but lets start taking advantage of the players on the team. How does Bennett not even get on the field when it was 1st and Goal right before half? He didn't see a single snap there.

And if Barber is struggling early, why not let Choice have a carry? Barber is clearly a monster at closing, keep him fresh for that role. Get choice and Jones more carries early on.

The only way to get all these guys more touches is to increase the total number of touches per game. How do we do that? Ooh, I know: throw less to our receivers who lead the league in yards per catch. Fewer yards per play means (maybe) more plays to spread the ball around. Of course, it will probably mean more punts and fewer points on the board. But hey, whatever makes folks here happy.

I think that the beauty of the system we currently have is that we DO have the ability to go with the hot guy...

It becomes more advantageous as the season goes on...

Choice is the least of our backs, and that isn't a knock, but he would be starting for many teams in this league and pushing Probowl for some...

Just appreciate what we have...

Teams that play us have to prepare for three quality, different backs...

It's hard to get any running back the right amount of carries when you have 3 good running backs like Dallas has.
