When Felix goes down Barber shouldn't get all of the carries. We have Choice, use him. Discuss.

he had a good training camp and preseason.. not sure why giving him minimal carries could be such a bad thing
 
I agree.

He should get a few carries to keep Barber fresh in the 4th quarter.
 
It boggles the mind how Garrett forgets that there are other RBs on the roster besides Barber.
 
If Romo wasn't out as well then Choice would be seeing the ball. Right now we have to ride the quality that we have left in the team.
 
choice would have broke one for sure today ...

the coaches probaly do not trust him in pass protection. if romo was playing then they might try a series or two with him because he can move around but we know that johnson cannot at all.
 
It wouldn't have mattered if we had a rotation of Eric Dickerson and Earl Campbell as long as Johnson is the qb.

They must be afraid that Choice can't pick up blitzes, or something, cause they don't seem real confident in using him and I just don't understand that, at all.
 
Barber has waived choice back to the bench a couple of times already.

He did it last week and the next series they pulled barber off the field and barber was ticked.

Its barber not wanting to come out. I think choice should get at least 5 touches without question though. Barber cant do this all year.

Its like we are trying to get the whole 50 million dollars out of him this season.
 
There were a couple pf plays when MBIII looked really gassed. On one he got caught in the backfield for a 4yd loss. Not saying that Choice would break one, but MBIII was even used as FB on short yardage and took a beating. A few breathers would have helped.

Those plays with MBIII as the fullback looked like they were designed for Felix, and may be setting up something next week with Tashard. Who knows?
