Tatupu done for season too...

So that makes 2 miserable years in a row.
I guess the NFC West is 49ers or Cardinals this year.

Its the Cardinals...and I think they'll run away with it when all is said and done.

I agree. I think its the cards. The 49ers are really not that good. They started off impressive but I just don't think they are there yet. Up until smith came in last week the offense was just not good. And given smiths track record they will continue on that path. The cards are one dimensional on offense but that one dimension is playing with two hall of famers and at least one other pro bowler. They are just really good on that dimension. Plus the defense is actually pretty good. If they lose the divison its all on them.

Tatupu has always been a one year one wonder from his rookie year he is an overrated linebacker...if was quicker could be a safety.

Despite the hardships that the team up in "Latte, Boeing, Microsoft" Land is currently undergoing, that doesn't alleviate the fact that there will be nothing sweeter to them than to go into Dallas and come away with a huge upset.

They are still professional football players. If the Cowboys don't respect them, this could be a long day deep in the heart of Texas. Hasselback has beaten Dallas before.

Uh, he's pretty slow, and a big hitter. He's 6'0" and 242. Not the right build for a safety.

He is the leader of the defense and is consistently one of the leading tacklers on the team. Hell he had an interception with a 26 yard return in the 2005 NFC Championship game. Big play guy. His play on the field aside, he has the intangables that make him the opposite of overrated. The defense rallies around him.

Im really sorry to hear this news.

It sucks but his replacement is actually really good. The last game he started he had 16 solo tackles, 1 assisted, 1 int, and a forced fumble plus recovery. The fumble was overturned during the game but the ref association apologized for it later in the week because it should not have been overturned. So there will not be too much of a dropoff IMO.

I can only hope that he has a repeat performance even though we lost that game.

How is the RT playing, I forgot his name? Also how much will Sims return help your OL?

Overrated? Lofa Tatupu is a player I would have loved to have on this team for years.

Oh man, this is just not adding up well at all. LOL. All these injuries for the opposing team, a losing record? And to top it all off, Dallas coming off an impressive huge win?

Wow. I have seen this dance before, LOL. I am glad they ain't showing this game now in my area. :lmao2:

Sad news about Tat as well. Dude was a good player and I wish he were playing.

He's a local guy, too, from Corsicana and TCU. So I'm sure he'll be extra fired up for the game.

Just going off the last game, nobody on the line played well. But the week before they were awesome. The inconsistency is really frustrating. Getting any of the actual starters back will be a big boost. I don't think lock will be playing though.

FYI- Hastleback has been tied up with his daughter all week, Hawks had a bye and his daughter was hit by someone riding a dirtbike, which resulted in major dental surgery. She is doing good (which is what matters) but Matt's head might not be in an away game.

Seattle is my number 2 team because I live up here now and my wfie, daughter, and in-laws are Hawks fans. My son and I are true Boys fans I was born in Dallas and lived in Garland until I was 19 and my son was born in Garland so he claims TX LOL
