Taunting penalties...

Everyone is upset about the Burnett penalty, but did anyone else see the db (i think it was Madison)follow Owens for about 10-15 yards mouthing off at him in the 1st half.

I was expecting him to draw a flag but he didn't. Other than it happened after a Cowboy score, how was that different than what Burnett did?

yeah, but the official ran over, so he obviously knew that it was a problem. That's why I was thinking he was going to throw a flag.

There was a taunting call on the Steelers yesterday as well.

Its true. It was. I was fuming.


In retrospect... while I dont condone it... flat out hate it.... Its like Burnett wanted to just lose control all over Jacobs... "yeah, you wanna talk...? huh?.... how do feel now?"

Human emotion... it doest take over and get the best of you sometimes.

Now.... dont do that again Carol Burnett! LOL

That penalty on Burnett came on the next play from scrimmage after the Madison/Owens kerfuffle. I think the refs decided they needed to get a handle on the extra-curricular activities. I just wish it hadn't cost us 3 pts.

I did not realize the incidents were so close together. That explains it.

I was not as upset with Burnett because after they did not flag Madison, I did not think they would flag Burnett either.
