Yeah, but the scary part is they'll get a top 3 pick next year, and get a qb to complete their dynasty. And, we'll have to contend with them for the next decade. Thanks skins.

They're getting picks from Washington over that robbery trade, but they'll probably still be bottom 3 again anyways. Raiders are far & away the worst football team in the NFL

Honestly the Rams are probably better than the Cowboys. I don't see how we could play down to a better team.

In what reality are you living? The Rams and Cowboys have played as recently as last season and the Cowboys have run roughshod over that team like they were blocking sleds. It's a matchup league, and this one favors greatly in our favor. COULD we lose to St. Louis? Yes, it's very possible.

But in this singular instance, HIGHLY unlikely. Our dominated their talented DLine with Costa @ C. Murray will have a huge game again, hopefully Tony is mistake free when it counts and it might come down to a play here and there we need in the passing game much like the Tenn. game.

Let's face it, if the Rams were at full strength, we just might have something to be legitimately concerned about. Since that condition no longer seems to be the case, however . . . heh, heh, -- gotta love it. Go get 'em, Boys! Of course, that doesn't mean to say they're to be taken for granted, however. Heaven forbid, we've all seen what can happen when that happens. Let's just say we've got a fighting chance and leave it at that. OK?

Not really, under Garrett. That was a thing under Wade now and then, but in Jason's term, we've pretty much handled our business against weaker teams and gotten beat by the good ones.

Yep, under wade we beat the bad teams and some good teams
Under Garrett, we don't bother to show up if the opponent is .500 or better

Murray should have a really good game against them again. I'm not seeing 170-200 yards but I'm guessing he'll get his third straight 100 yard day at around 130 yards and a couple TD's. They're banged up and their offense is very meh. Which means, of course, their offense will light us up but we should still be able to win this one.

We show up. And then we get beat. Because we haven't been able to defense good QBs well, mostly.

The math has been pretty clear the last few years. It's not perfect, though, but generally speaking, we show up for bad teams and struggle with good ones. Which is pretty consistent for a team with a good passing offense and a bottom rung defense.

Pretty good job by them to go to TB and win last week, all things considered.

As for Tavon; not that there was threat we'd take him but I'm thrilled that we didn't.
The Rams have drafted ok lately other than that early 1st rounder. The 8th overall pic...yikes.
He sure was fun to watch in college though.

Check out who we picked 6th overall in 2012 before you point out the Ram's flaws :)

I don't like it- it's going into games like this where some Who-Dat tears our team up because we have no info on the player.

Jake Delhomme comes to mind.. Dallas made that guy's career. I would rather the Rams have all their starters healthy.

Come out and run the ball with Murray and hit them with the play-action pass....

For his career, when the Cowboys are favored, Garrett is 9-21-1 (.306) against the spread—the worst team record in the league since 2010. As an underdog, Garrett is 17-8 (.680) against the spread—the second-best team record in the league since 2010. While those don't factor in pure wins or losses, it sure as heck seems like we are playing to the level of competition as opposed to showing up for bad teams and not for the good ones.

What's the spread have to do with it? Better to just look at records and eliminate the significant variable of performance relative to Vegas' expectations.

Going into Dec last year. Garrett teams were 4-19 against teams with even or winning records. 16-1 against teams below .500.
