Up until the Seahags game I had given up on production in the return game. With the return of Tavon that changed immediately. No one is giving the Special Teams any credit for the role they played in field positioning for the offense and the key factor in that was Tavon. Even with the refs stealing a TD from Tavon he still had a major impact on the game.

Now here we come Rams with a Tavon Austin that has a chip on his shoulder. Why? Because the Rams didn't believe in him. Not only will Tavon be a factor in Special Teams but also in the slot. With Hurns out and Cole gimpy Tavon will have a chance to show why the Rams messed up......the big payback....REVENGE!!!!

Thoughts?

Rams didn't believe in him because he was trash for us. We gave him so many chances and the guys fumbles or is so afraid of contact he quickly goes down.

Your trash is our treasure. Welcome to a real teams fan page......

Revenge or vindication is a powerful motivator. For most of the year, I have felt the special teams have been well... not so special and that is especially true of the return game. While they haven't necessarily lost us any games, they haven't put us in a commanding position to win.

That changes with Austin. He is a dynamic piece to the puzzle that offers something special in both the return game and as a receiver. Let's just hope he can channel his motivation.
