Dez Bryant has returned to practice. You can put the red flags away.
LB Alex Albright is out.
Tim Benford crashed into the fence in back of end zone and is down. Team trainer tending to him.
Oline struggling today in pass protection. 3 sacks allowed.
New signee James Nelson getting reps at RT and Jeff Olson at LG.
The new guy, Toby Jackson with a sack.
Dan Bailey just missed 2 FGs
Nice throw by Romo to austin in the 7-7 for a TD.
Dwayne Harris with another nice catch. He's had a solid camp. He'll have a nice role this year.
Brandon Underwood with a pick of a Kyle orton pass.
Wait a minute Wilcox with a pick getting up high to pick off orton in end zone.
George selvie with a sack
Harris with a nice sliding catch

Rowan Kavner ‏@KavnerDC 1h
Couple pics on Orton in red zone 7 on 7. First goes to Underwood, second to Wilcox
Free just pulled out to right to take on Scandrick, Murray springs free, lowers his shoulder down field as Frederick takes brunt of force
Bass hobbles off the field after collision in backfield. He and Hatcher were both down, but Hatcher was fine

Tim MacMahon ‏@espn_macmahon 2h
Welcome back, Dez Bryant! One-on-ones start with him soaring over Brandon Carr to snatch a high pass for a TD on a fade.
Cowboys WR Tim Benford stays down after crashing into a fence. Athletic trainers rush over.
Rough 1-on-1 session for Orlando Scandrick. Beat on fades by TE backups. Cole Beasley just went up over him on a fade.
WR coach Derek Dooley is lighting into undrafted rookie Eric Rogers about route-running.
Tim Benford is back in there after being tackled by the fence.
Orlando Scandrick has had a good camp. Just not a good 1-on-1 session today.
Team drills start with DeMarcus Ware coming free for a sack.
Dez Bryant might be a bit rusty. He failed to make a circus catch on a deep ball between two defenders.
Three snaps, two sacks for DeMarcus Ware.
Nate Newton is giddy about Ronald Leary's work against Jason Hatcher. Opened big hole for DeMarco Murray.
Travis Frederick is getting some RG reps. Possibility of Phil Costa starting at center still exists.
DeMarcus Ware continues to feast against Tyron Smith. Just got to Romo for a safety.
Will be very interesting to see Tyron Smith vs. Cameron Wake in HOF Game, assuming they play a series. Wake had 15 sacks last year.
I haven't seen anything out here to suggest that Tyron Smith is primed for leap from pretty good to Pro Bowler. DeMarcus Ware has dominated.
Kyle Orton picked off on back-to-back plays in 7-on-7. Second was a leaping grab in end zone by rookie S JJ Wilcox.
Pretty cut by DeMarco Murray on a quick toss.
Everyone remembered the snap count except for center Travis Frederick.
Orlando Scandrick seems pretty perturbed. Called for holding in end zone one play, gives up TD to Miles Austin the next. Rough day for 32.
Kyle Wilber beats Darrion Weems for a sack. Weems' struggles explain why out-of-shape Demetress Bell is still here.
DE Ben Bass just limped off the field.
They gave Tyron Smith a break for 2-minute drill. He is facing Kyle Wilber, not DeMarcus Ware.
Tony Romo throws a beautiful touch pass over the LB to Jason Witten on a deep crossing route for gain of 30 or so yards.
Ernie Sims almost picks an Orton pass in flat to Escobar. Orton lacks zip on his passes.
Practice over. Sluggishness might have been due to In-N-Out lunch catering.

Bryan Broaddus ‏@BryanBroaddus 1h
Callahan just benched Smith after another pressure from Ware. Weems not much better in his place.
Randle just got a face full of Wilber who went over the top of the rookie for a sack.
Kyle Wilber is having one of his best practices in camp. He has been explosive but he has also played with some bend and snap.
Jeff Olson now being helped off the field. Hatcher went over the top of him and took a blow to the face. Not moving well now.
Jason Witten on a sail route from Romo to the 2. Murray to the one. Romo sprints right but hold on Scandrick vs Bryant. Ton of F bombs now.
Selvie on a sack of Orton off a twist stunt. Weems and Arkin now on that left side.

Rafael Vela ‏@CowboysNation1 2h
Hints for Sunday. Second unit D practicing vs. Miami offense right now. As run by 2nd O of course.
Interesting use of diamond return "wedge" by ST coach.
Fewer moving parts in Bisaccia's returns than DeCamillis'. Mote direct.
Some interesting tricks up Kiffin's sleeve. On consecutive plays Ware drops as MLB in zone and covers Witten solo on a corner blitz call.
Dez Bryant leaping high to catch balls with no fuss. Hip injury "crisis" officially dead.
Stuff you hear on the fence. Daily scoffing and derisive "old man" comments about Monte Kiffin. A lot of people must hate their grandpas.

Carlos A. Mendez ‏@calexmendez 2h
Dez's thigh pads are just about invisible. Nothing to slow him down today lol
Landon Cohen running with the rehab group today. Another D-lineman no practice.
1 on 1 receiver/db drills. Beasley makes a catch back pylon against Scandrick. Out-jumped him.
Dez a catch. A somersault. Yawn.
Hip not keeping Dez from trying to beat Claiborne and Allen to a deep ball. Went up between them, fell hard. No catch. But got up. #whew
Coale running on the side and working on the cords. Had been practicing. Tough road for him.
Cowboys start the 99-yard drill. With a sack by Ben Bass.
99-yard drill didn't get very far. Guess sacks by Bass, Ware, the new guy Toby Jackson didn't help.
Bailey has found it again. Hard to work up much concern about that guy.
Cowboys have moved Friday practice to 4 California time. Second time they've moved it. Originally 5:15, then 4:45.
J.J Wilcox up like Cole Beasley for a pick of Orton back of end zone. Orton threw it hard. Tough catch.
Orton had back to back picks. Threw a low back shoulder that landed at cb Brandon Underwood's knees.
Ware ruins a screen to Dunbar. Stuck with him. Romo had to throw it in the ground. Ware athlete.
Witten with a massive **** in the huddle. For who? For what? Wow. Senator rarely talks like that.
Miles a TD catch 11 on 11 goal line. Throws the football in he air. Chest bump with Dez. Defense mad. These guys want to play a game.
Orton sacked. Selvie.
Chris Paul throwing passes with Rowdy. Practice is over. But clearly Cowboys training camp in full swing.

Tom Orsborn ‏@tom_orsborn 1h
Wilcox picks off Orton pass in EZ during 7 on 7. Will Allen predicts rookie will make a big play Sunday night: "a hit, a pick, something."
Murray has another big collision, but it wasn't with Lee. The hard-nosed RB slams into rookie C Frederick while Garrett's heart skips a beat

Brad Sham ‏@Boys_Vox 1h
Welcome to camp Jeff Olson. Hatcher knocks new G butt over teakettle in pass rush drill, injures him. Helped off by ath. trainer.
Hatcher & Allen salty in short yardage D. That's a good thing.

Brandon George ‏@dmn_george 2h
Chris Paul is wearing a backwards Cowboys cap and a Cowboys shirt. Tony Romo is talking him up now.
Cowboys WR Tim Benford was injured going head first into fence near field trying to catch pass in right corner of end zone, but up walking.
After back-to-back drops by WR Eric Rogers, Cowboys WRs coach Derek Dooley yells, "Come on, 14!"
Not a good series for offensive line with Cowboys backed up near end zone: gave up 4 sacks for would-be safeties. Bass, Ware, Wilber, Selvie
DeMarcus Ware already has three sacks during team drills and it's still early. OL has already allowed 6 sacks.
The Cowboys OL has allowed 8 sacks in team drills so far.

Charean Williams ‏@NFLCharean 2h
Coaches having to call for a guard. So few of them available that Arkin and Leary are getting a ton of work.
Dez wrestles away fade pass from Carr. Nice. Told you there would be excitement with 88 back.
Benford went head first sliding into fence. Trainers with him.
Cole Beasley over Scandrick in one on ones. Nice grab.
Dooley screaming at Eric Rogers for dropping another ball.
Allen, Frederick and Dunbar have a huge collision right in front of me. Sound of it made me hurt.
Dwayne Harris makes nice sliding catch on third and 18 to convert. He is quietly having a nice camp.

Clarence Hill ‏@clarencehilljr 1h
Tim benford injured at practice after running into fence. He is up now and seems to be walking it off
Oline has given up five sacks in practice so far. I would scratch romo from Miami game or have him hand off three straight times
With no pass rush, romo sizzles in seven on seven
Jj Wilcox goes sky high for a pick of Orton in back of end zone. Wilcox is a play maker
Romo to Witten burns defense for big gain in two minute drill
Offense finishes it off with td run by Murray

Cowboys G Nate Livings will have MRI on knee tonight. There is concern that this is a persistent injury that goes beyond day-to-day category
Mickey Spagnola ‏@Spags52 22m
With 2 more OGs out, Cowboys sign OG Jeff Olson & OT James Nelson. If you can believe this, Olson leaves practice with apparent head injury.
Nick Eatman ‏@nickeatman 24m
Cowboys VP Stephen Jones said team will keep all options open when asked directly about interest in veteran guard Brian Waters.

Nice tidbit about Dwayne Harris. Some unfounded speculation around here he was fading. No way the guy is a baller and has worked hard to get better every year

Sounds like Rogers is the one fading.. Harris, Beasley, and Williams will all be big parts of the offense this year, i bet.

This O-line is a joke!
Tyron smith can't block Ware to save his life.

so do tell who can ?

whats he got 111 sacks

Tyron is not going to play againest Ware

and he is practicing againest Ware even after practice

I guess we better start looking for OT for you or maybe 2 since Free is so bad also

Tyron isn't bad, just not living up to the hype.
I'm pretty sure demarcus ware has been getting around 2 sacks every practice.
If he can do that in the regular season he'll demolish the all-time record.

Some concern over the line is warranted at this point. Things can and probably will change before the season starts, but it seems like every street free agent on the DL looks like the next LT in practice.

I think a lot of concern is warranted. It's very difficult to be a good team in the NFL, let alone a team that wins playoff games, with this kind of big, glaring weakness (assuming it's not all a function of the Dallas D-line being awesome.)
