Since no one tracked it live, I figured I'll post a wrap-up.
----------------------

Tim MacMahon ‏@espn_macmahon 2h
Today's a 2-minute day, so Cowboys working on 4-WR packages. Cole Beasley, not Dwayne Harris, is fourth WR. Just walkthru now.
Jason Garrett said rookie safety JJ Wilcox has "Bill Bates syndrome." He's incapable of practicing without laying out teammates.
Lance Dunbar is struggling in 1-on-1 pass protection. This is a major challenge because of his size. Joseph Randle is good at it.
Lance Dunbar wins a rep vs. Taylor
DeMarco Murray whiffs on Sean Lee in pass pro. Lee pulls out a juke move from his HS RB days.
Mo Claiborne is getting a finger worked on by athletic trainers. His knees just buckled, so I'm guessing its pretty painful.
Rehabbing G Ronald Leary gives strength coach Mike Woicik a ride. pic.twitter.com/z29DkJCBhT
Ben Bass gets sack of Romo, but Sean Lissemore blew up the play with pressure up middle.
Jason Hatcher blows by David Arkin and runs down DeMarco Murray in the backfield. I look forward to seeing Hatcher against starting guards.
Doug Free is beating up DE Cameron Sheffield, who has a chance to make the team, in the running game.
Tony Romo throws a duck on an out, but Miles Austin still makes catch in front of Brandon Carr. No picks for corners yet in camp.
Romo hits Terrance Williams on a post, but it woulda been a sack. Cameron Sheffield beat Gavin Escobar.
7-on-7s start with Sean Lee breaking up a pass to Jason Witten on a seam route. Lee runs and has instincts like a big safety.
Coppell's Devin Smith comes up with a diving INT, first pick by a corner in camp.
Gavin Escobar gets wide open on a seam route and jukes Barry Church after the catch. He's not fast, but he has great quickness for a TE.
Mo Claiborne is making it tough on Dez Bryant today. Dez dominated yesterday.
Brandon Carr picks off Tony Romo on a fade to Dez Bryant in the end. Textbook coverage.
Blitzing Orlando Scandrick knocks down a Romo pass.
Picks are coming in bunches for corners now. BW Webb just got one on an under throw by Kyle Orton to end practice.

Jon Machota ‏@jonmachota 1h
Morris Claiborne getting his left hand looked at by a trainer. Irvin over there talking to him. Mo hugs the playmaker with his free arm

Clark Judge ‏@ClarkJudgeCBS 1h
Cole Beasley putting on clinic today, making all kinds of impossible catches. #CowboysCamp

Carlos A. Mendez ‏@calexmendez 2h
Practice is going. No Demetress Bell, though. If you're interested in that kind of thing.
Cowboys gave Josh Brent's number to one of the new camp signees.
Weird. Witten with a slip and a drop back to back. Weird.
Claiborne, Austin get tangled. Miles up slow. Right shin. Trainer talked to him. Looks like he's ok.
Austin beats Claiborne on a fly. Ball got there as Claiborne turned, lost it. Miles got his revenge.
Claiborne getting left hand looked at. Could be an equipment thing. Taking a while. Hasn't left the field.
Claiborne got his pinkie and ring finger taped. Left hand.
Cam Scheffield working LDE with the first team for a couple snaps.
One of the new guys dominated backup OT Darrion Weems. Not good. Callahan seemed to agree.
Costa getting guard work in team. Third rg.
Matt Johnson going to have to hit somebody. He's paired with J.J. Wilcox, who hits everything. Difference is showing.
Punt team set up an ideal wall for Dwayne Harris. Looked like the Philadelphia return.
Joe Randle tried to come up for a high short punt. Got traffic around him, lost bearing on ball and it hit ground. Did not look confident.
And Wilcox brings Rosario to the ground in 7 on 7. Lol. Garrett not kidding about this guy.
Miles a drop. That's two in camp. Unusual.
Game situation. Williams catch on deep square in to 27. Callahan timeout with 22 seconds. Need a field goal to win.
Defense wins. Carr pick on a sideline throw to Dez. Had position inside. Dez tried to get ball from other side of Carr. Very nice play.
Another Dez moment. Takes a screen and zips upfield Ina crowd. Got like 30 yards

Todd Archer ‏@toddarcher 2h
Nate Livings might be getting close. In cleats, wearing knee brace and gloves. Recovering from cut on foot.
New signings have to no longer work into practice. Once they sign they can put pads on. Selvie, Cohen in pads
Dez Bryant wearing the camera on his helmet for today's practice. Might be interesting.
With day off on Thursday the 2-minute drill today could be physically draining to keep players from doing much
First team D pursuit drill of camp. Coaches make sure they all sprint through the line.
Part of resting Romo's arm he's not taking many or any reps in individual work.
Jason Witten slips as he makes cut on flag route. Not sure I've seen that
Tony Romo not very accurate here early in one on ones.
And then Dez Bryant beats Brandon Carr on a slant and go. Nice throw
Morris Claiborne appeared to jam his left hand/finger attempting to press Miles Austin. Getting looked at by athletic trainer.
Nice job by DeMarco Murray on couple runs with his vision to cut back in team run period.
George Selvie with a play against the run blowing up Darrion Weems
And then Selvie bites on a reverse to Dwayne Harris
Barry Church might've missed football. He's hitting everything he can.
All is right with the world Dan Bailey made all 6 kicks from 40-47 yards. 16 of 17 so far in camp
Spencer Barton struggling with his punts into the wind. Strong breeze
Dez Bryant not happy at hit Dante Rosario took from Ernie Sims that popped off tight end's helmet. Letting D know.
Athletic interception by Brandon Carr on Romo throw to Dez Bryant. Carr in perfect position to take ball away.

Calvin Watkins ‏@calvinwatkins 2h
WRs were 0-4 in 1on1 until cole Beasleys diving catch
Austin with nice catch on a comeback vs Claiborne
Beasley with another nice diving catch but he was out of bounds.
Eric Rogers and Jared green look smooth catching these passes. Beasley looks good too.
The more James Hanna sits the better Escobar is getting because he's getting the reps.
Lance Dunbar with a nice cutback for a good gain.
George Selvie with a sack and a TFL on consecutive plays. Good start.
Monte Kiffin upset with Ben bass sits him down for Cameron Sheffield
Landon Cohen having a good 1 day esp in these individual drills.

Rowan Kavner ‏@KavnerDC 1h
Diving catch for Beasley down the sideline after Brewer pushes him around near line of scrimmage. Brewer not too thrilled ab the completion
Mo looks like he might be hurt. Trainers looking at his hand.
A cb finally gets the best of Dez on a deep ball. Carr with the pick on far side of the field, assuming he kept his feet in
Tyron needs a helmet fix. That, or i missed it and they're screwing his head back on. pic.twitter.com/ym2o2mrm3j

Josh Ellis ‏@josh_ellis11 1h
Saalim Hakim taps his toes along the sideline for a nice grab. Quick feet.
Justin Rodgers gets frozen in the hole by a quick move from Marcus Lattimore. Ray Lewis' little brother looks like he might have something.

Bryan Broaddus ‏@BryanBroaddus 1h
Some quality reps by Joseph Randle in the 1on1 pass blocking drills vs LB.
Some nice initial pop from RBs but just need better sustain. Tanner and Randle better than Murray and Dunbar.
Rehab assignment for Ronald Leary. Calf looks pretty good as he pushes the golf cart. pic.twitter.com/R7qLEpvgtt
What Frederick is going to have to learn at this level is that you have to extend your hands to keep rushers off your body.
When you don't punch your man, you never stop his momentum. By the way I like this Nick Hayden as a rotation guy.
Tyron Smith has to be shaking his head about going against Ware. He doesn't have a gage on what move he is going to see next.
Selvie has come in and given this DL a little jump at RDE. Thumb nail said he was high effort and motor. Have seen that.

Nick Eatman ‏@nickeatman 1h
Claiborne appears to have pretty painful finger injury .. Looks like he's getting it popped back into place ... Happened in 1on1 drill
Claiborne spent about 4 minutes getting hand looked at and retaped .. He's back with his group now ..we'll see if it affects him
This George selvie probably hasn't even checked into his room yet and he's making plays .. Looks pretty good
Hatcher limps off with apparent cramp .. Then falls to the ground
Hatcher back at there .. Terrance williams pretty good blocker - just pushed Carr off the field

Clarence Hill ‏@clarencehilljr 1h
Ben bass beats Doug free for sack
After getting dropped for loss around right end murray cuts off left tackle for nice gain
Offense run play when defense wasn't ready And set. Memories of rob Ryan

Tom Orsborn ‏@tom_orsborn 1h
Ben Bass continues to impress, blowing past Free for a sack of Romo. Marinelli loves Bass' football IQ.
Romo evades pressure to hit rooie WR Terrance Williams downfield, leading Jerome Henderson to chew on rookie safety J.J. Wilcox for a while.

Rafael Vela ‏@CowboysNation1 1h
Just finished a LONG 11v11 session. 1sV1s, 2sV2s, 3Vs3s. Lots of work on no-huddle, and quick huddles/shallow huddles.
Offense still working on zone-running, and doing much better on inside and outside runs for all three strings/units.
Working a lot of 1-back, and -surprise- no back sets with 2TEs/3WRs and 1TE/4WRs. A lot of work on fast motion.
They did a lot of 1on1 work, and the vets are cementing their roles. Escobar showing up, and doing good things.

Brad Sham ‏@Boys_Vox 1h
Watching Tyron Smith v DeMarcus Ware in the pass rush drill is worth coming to practice for.

Like to hear stuff like this. Epic battles in practice should make Sunday's easy.

Thank you for the practice reports... great with my morning coffee!

Romo has been sharp for the most part in camp.... practice like they play
Dez has been dominant in camp.... practice like they play
Church and Wilcox have been consistently hitting everything in sight.... practice like they play
Escobar has been getting work and was making plays... practice like they play
The offense got to the line quickly and snapped before the defense was ready... practice like they play
Randle looks good in blitz pickup.... practice like they play
Sean Lee has consistently made plays in pass coverage.... practice like they play

All reasons I'm encouraged thus far in camp. Some of these things are new developments and some arent. I love this year's rookie crop!

Something better than just running your mouth attacking people when what they're saying actually has validity.

Nope, just another example of someone jumping on one isolated statistic or statement (e.g. the oline has been terrible early in TC!) without context (e.g. the DLine always has an advantage without pads).

One isolated, factual statistic.

And said light-heartedly in jest as illustrated by the original poster.

But leave it to yet another 'staunch defender' to come rushing to the aid of the Cowboys to attack anyone who dares not tow the company line 24/7.

The truth may hurt, but it's still the truth.

The defensive backs of the Cowboys need to get more takeaways.

Practice is a good place to start.

Just fyi, the corners started to get them some picks in yesterday's (Wed) practice. A large focus this preseason in creating more turnovers. I think Lee and Carter alone will account for around 6-8 turnovers for the season, maybe a little more. In other news, great to see Escobar "getting it" so early he will be a much needed added threat on O. Free's work has been encouraging as well. Can't wait for some preseason games to really see how things are moving along.

Agree about Esco, but Free has been getting beat regularly by Ben Bass. Thats not exactly encouraging.

Why do you say "regularly?" From reading the reports, it sounds like Bass beat Free once for a sack, and was shut down later to the point that Kiffin sat him for Sheffield.

It sounds to me like Bass has been in the backfield pretty often. The fact that he is there at all, against a guy who has been in the league so long, is really concerning.

So either Bass is better than expected, or Free is just as bad. Im assuming the altter.

Yea, and reports of him getting beat.

He should be performing well against the likes of Bass, Sheffield, and whoever else.
