funny how Boise and TCU have to play each other instead of one of the big boys.

Typical.

The whole system is so corrupt, nothing surprises me anymore.

When you have an play by play announcer in the Big XII Championship (Musberger) skeeting all over the booth about "BCS Chaos!!!!"... The system has been a joke for years. Now I don't even know what you'd call it.

it will be a great game, but we saw it last year and i would have loved to have seen tcu vs florida

What a ****ing joke.

Should have seen it coming though. Basically just made a consolation game.

They pit the two little schools against one another and they can maintain their "you haven't played anyone" argument.

****ing crooks.

TCU is probably the best team in the nation right now and I think TCU will take Boise but they won't get the recognition they deserve no matter what.

The BCS is worse than the WWE. At least the WWE lets it be known that it's all scripted.

Sadly, I was expecting this. Typical BcS. What a joke.

BCS didn't want their golden boy Tebow to get his butt handed to him by TCU. They would much rather see that happen to Kellen Moore.

As much as I think it will be the result of shameless political grandstanding by an Orrin Hatch or (fill in blank with the name of practically any other politician), the BCS is sealing its own fate with this stupid move.

TCU would of traveled very well to New Orleans and the Sugar Bowl.

By most accounts, Iowa would of traveled well to Phoenix.

TCU/Florida and Iowa/BSU would of been much more compelling viewing for football fans.

The only problem is BSU would likely beat Iowa, and Florida would be a walking into a buzz-saw that they wouldn't be ready for in TCU.

And if TCU and BSU both won, it goes without saying it would be a huge embarrassment for the BCS and their front-running fans that think their teams are omnipotent.

the more i think about this bowl game the more i see y'alls points about how its a slap in the face to them, unbelievable

Doesn't the Big east winner (Cincy) normally play in the Orange Bowl?

I assumed that BSU and TCU would get one each of the Sugar and Fiesta Bowl instead they move Cincy out of the Orange Bowl, send Iowa instead and put TCU up against BSU all to avoid the risk of lord Tebow possibly not looking good in his final game, that Cincy defense sure as hell won't put up much resistance :laugh2:

the BCS is such a joke

Texas is terrible and will get destroyed by Alabama.

The computers have Cincy ahead of Texas, for what it's worth.

I agree with everything except TCU traveling well. TCU has trouble selling out their home stadium and it only holds about 40,000 people. Other than that this whole thing is a mess.

This sounds all too familiar to me. I believe much the same thing was said about Vince Young and Texas vs Leinart/Bush in 06. I've watched a lot of Alabama this year and they are very good defensively but they have nobody like Suh. Anybody who has watched the Big 12 these past few years knows that Nebraska plays Texas very tough. Suh dominated the LOS in Saturdays game. I don't believe we'll see that from Bama because I don't believe they have anybody on there DL who can do what Suh can do. Not saying Bama won't win but I am saying that I doubt you'll see the Bama defense be able to do what Nebraska/Suh did. Texas will score points against Bama IMO.

You better be worried about this guy.

I probably would if they played anyone but each other in BCS bowl games :bang2:

Last I saw, he's on IR. Word is, he got shot in the Butocks.

:)

That sounds like a million dollar wound right there. Too bad the Army keeps the money though.

Sucks, these teams get to prove nothing by playing themselves. TCU vs. Florida would have been awesome. As for this game, I think TCU trucks the blue turfers.
