Did anyone else feel like maybe the Cowboys were putting too much into post TD celebrations? The first half end zone shenanigans were all pre-planned and choreographed. The offensive line, Dak, Dez, Butler, Zeke, everybody was focusing on doing what they planned - which must take some time during the week. It was fun when it was happening, but then the game got away from them. I'm not blaming the celebrations for the loss, but maybe we got a little full of ourselves in the first half. I love fun stuff more than anybody. Zeke jumping in the kettle - hilarious. But if it interferes with their focus, maybe they should tone it down.

All teams are doing it now. Not just the Cowboys.

If anything, I see it getting worse.

I give it a season maybe two before the ban on TD celebrations is brought back. A lot of these guys just can't help themselves and it's going to get out of hand. Heck, in only took OBJ a few weeks to make a total fool of himself.

I love it--it's fun. You're reaching if you think it has any impact on the game itself.

Just a matter of time before somebody squats and craps out a football in the end zone.

Not really, no. They seemed pretty par for the course.

To me, these celebrations are unprofessional and childish.

Players used to be so much more mature.

how much time can these celebrations take to prepare? 5-10 mins? i don’t believe those minutes were the difference between losing and winning. i’m okay with the celebrations personally.

I know all teams are doing it. It just seemed a little overdone by the Cowboys yesterday. The o-line tossing the ball was just corny.

you would think that with the VERY limited times that they have been in there, they could be more creative...or, just spit-balling, hows-about you act like you have been there before and just toss the ball to the ref upon scoring?

Add it to the running list.

"Celebrations rumored to be reason Cowboys suck this season. More details as they break."

Just think maybe they got a little full of themselves. They relaxed. Can't do that in the NFL. JMO.

That's fair. Some of it crosses the line--the OBJ thing was just dumb. But I grew up loving the TO*/85/Smith stuff. If it's clever and not over the top--I'm all for it.

*With the obvious exception.

Don't get me wrong. I love it too. Some guys are quite ingenious with it.

If anything, the players are reaching. It almost all looks the same. Pretty stupid if ya ask me.

Let’s put some fake salt on the football and pretend to eat it! Yay!

yeah, don't think that had much to do about the loss. Wish they could have had more TD celebrations. I don't have a problem with that. the ones I have a problem with are celebrations for just getting a first down, a tackle, or any one play.... then it is excessive. TD's are the name of the game, nothing wrong with that. the problem was more their lack of focus on playing a full game. And the defense sucked bad.

Different strokes and all that.
