Heard his name come up on multiple podcasts from various sources as a guy the team likes. Looks like. Good H back candidate who could maybe bump Schultz off the roster.

He does not need to bump Schultz in order to make the roster...

I heard his name mentioned on the Cowboy Draft Show, he was scheduled to be a 30 visit. What I've read he is more of a 1 yr wonder with upside. Team needs to add more talent to the position, I wouldn't be against adding more depth to the position.

I personally like this guy a lot.

Scouts: 16 reps at the combine put him 2nd to last at the TE position.
Cowboys already have Jarwin, they need a TE who can block also. His blocking
skills are pretty raw. He only logged 8 catches in his college career before 2019.

With all that said. I can see the talent. He has sneaky speed off the snap.

What round is he projected in?

I fully expect him to be our 4th round pick

And I like it too. In a terrible TE draft, he's a sneaky good player and could give us some more options on offense. Seems like a Pollard-type pick to me.

Albert O from Missouri is who I want if we draft a later round TE.
Been seeing a lot of mocks with & Asiasi going day two. I wanted to mock one of them to us with a late pick, but they might go earlier than we think.

We’ll have to package pick #17 + #51 to move up and get him.

Depends on how McCarthy views the backup TEs. He has Bell to be the blocking TE. Means Schultz is the odd man out.

Albert would excel under McCarthy as he typically uses multiple tight ends.

The way we seem to be reaching on picks I wouldn’t be shocked

Projected 3rd to 4th

Relative to other college TEs with good receiving ability, his blocking is better than average.

He appears more athletic than his 4.73 forty. He shows better on-field athleticism than Okwuegbaunam who ran a 4.49 forty (Okwuegbaunam looks "clunky" on the field).

Asiasi was was good at getting open and was open far more often than he was targeted. Their OL struggled in the games I reviewed that the QB was under duress often.

Asiasi is shorter than average at 6-3 but he has good arm length.

Kmet is a more developed route runner but he is projected as a 2nd rounder. Asiasi is a better blocker than Kmet.

I think he is going to go top 100. Not sure he should but I can see it
