Many said Jerry couldn't help himself if JF we at 16 and we would draft him. That did not happen. Same thing applies tonight. We won't draft a TE. I'm not talking about in the 2nd round I mean all night.

I don't see where Dallas has used a lot of picks on TE. 2008 Bennett after that none in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 used a 6th rd pick. I think the TE is a bit of an exaggeration

Dallas drafted Escobar not because of NE but maybe just because our TE is a 12 year vet. Heck lets not draft LB since we have drafted quite a few in the last few years.

Past Tight End failures are a sunk cost. If you have a tight end sitting there with a first round grade I'd rather take him in the 2nd over a DE or DT with a 3rd round grade. The Lions had a history of failing on WR picks, but eventually hit on Calvin. These things do happen.

He's chained to Romo and believe a 35-36 yr old Romo is a Super Bowl winner. One thing I think BP did here was he didn't emphasize young QBs and I think that's rubbed off in JJ and he's afraid to let go what he knows.

who the hell says Johnny Football is anyone future same with Bridgewater? Because you hype them up does not makes them franchise QB? Funny 1st QB taken was not those 2 guys. I do think Dallas will look at QB be it in this draft or next year after all there is a pretty decent group of QB coming next season the QB world did not come to a halt with JF leaving college.

The point is Dallas has not drafted that many TE and again Witten is in his 12 year and Cowboys took a TE that does not mean we are taking 1 this year or next year it is a cheap shot not based in fact.
